I am a full-time licensed real estate professional working with diverse clientele including the first-time home buyer, the executive estate home seller and buyer, and the investment property buyer. My background serves me well in the real estate profession. I graduated from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering and from San Jose State University with a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering. I recently completed a course at Harvard University Continuing Education in Negotiation Skills and Strategies.

I met Gretchen in the gym and decided to use her as my realtor after my divorce. Going it alone was scary and difficult for me after a 24 year marriage but Gretchen helped me get through the buying process with ease! She knows her area and that made the house selection process less daunting. Soft spoken but a bull dog in the negotiation room, love that about her! When I decided to move again, she was my "girl" for the sale of my home. If I could have taken her with me to southern California, I would have. We met Gretchen in 2017 when touring a home she had an open house in Morgan Hill. We were very impressed with her expert knowledge in the housing market, the buying/selling process, and she became our realtor! Gretchen was very personable, kind and delightful to work with. I knew her from a women's organization and respected her. I wanted the best possible agent to sell our house as the proceeds would be our retirement fund. She at all times was collegial, honest and smart. I also have a real estate license but it had been dormant. However, Gretchen always treated me like a fellow agent. We discussed comparables and were in complete agreement on the price and strategy. We were clearly on target because, at the end, we received a full price offer. She encouraged me to hire a stager and I did buy an hour or so of advice from hers and another. I synthesized the two reports and did a mini-remodel. At all times, Gretchen and I conferred. She set a fire under my husband and me to get the garages cleared out but did so with respect. Gretchen had just returned from Harvard where she took a class on negotiation. Those skills came into play when the first offer arrived a little less than our price. She nudged and cajoled the buyers and their agent until they offered full price. She took care all the way through the 60 day escrow to be on top of all issues. A few arose needing her attention and she guided all of us to the closing. She gave our house personal attention. When she said she would hold an open house, she did it herself. That meant a lot to us. I highly recommend her for any price house as I would expect her to treat each listing with the greatest care, regardless of its price. I am certain that she would be just as diligent with a buyer as she was with us.

She did research on our house, brought a booklet with her resume, houses that she has sold or is selling and what Intero has sold as a company. She gave great advise and came into our home with an open mind on what a good price would be. We had another realtor for about 5 months and couldn't get any offer even close to asking. Gretchen had our house under contract within about 2-3 weeks and for a little above asking. She kept us in the loop on what the buyers were doing with there house selling. The closing went very smoothly and on a time frame we were thrilled with.

She did not refrain from telling us that our thoughts on things might be out of line. And after all was said and done, our house sold in one month even during a time when the rate of sales had cooled from a brief hot market. Gretchen helped negotiate that the close of our old house pretty much coincided with the close of the new house so that the move was seamless.
