We overcame some bumps due to a flaky buyer but Laurie doubled her efforts and we were happy with the results of our final sale. When the difficult decision was made to sell my house, the decision on who to go to was easy. (Even though I have many friends who are “in” the real estate business.) I’ve been seeing Laurie’s beautiful face every month in the mail in her monthly flyer for over 9 years, that - quite honestly - I’d quickly toss in the trash. I’d also see her name on “For Sale” properties throughou the community. But the point is, she always here. Laurie is an institution in the Santa Teresa area. If you like personal service that is hard to find then you want to work with Laurie. She is very professional. She answers all calls almost immediately. Because of her real estate knoledge we received one of the highest amounts in this area for our home. She tells it like it is. If she says to change something at your home you should listen. 1,000 plus homes sold is amazing. She knows what she is doing.

I moved from San Jose in early March. In my absence, and through Laurie's recommendation, I had an estate liquidation sale. Laurie arranged for a cleanup of the house and staged it. By April first the house went on the market and sold within a week. Laurie did all the necessary detail work since I was no longer in town. She did a wonderful job and I was able to sell the house for more than I expected. She works hard for her clients. I recommend her to sell you house.

Laurie made the entire process seem effortless and healing. It was my mother's home that I grew up in. Mom passed away last year and the last thing on our minds was to have to sell the house. Laurie never pressured us and walked us through the entire process and often took care of the fix-it projects with our blessings as we lived q few hours away and could not be there. We wanted an agent who knew the particular area of San Jose where our home was located and selected Laurie. She did not disappoint - she knew alot about the original builders and models in the area, the parks, schools. Her recommended stager and her photographer made the home look stunning and showed off it's advantages. The open houses were mobbed and we sold over asking price to a buyer who closed without any hitches.

Laurie is the person you would want to sell your home. She knows your neighborhood, your house, and what prospective buyers are looking for in their new home. What made Laurie stand out for us was that she came in right away to calm our anxieties about selling our home and she said "leave everything up to me", and she did exactly what she said. She had people ready to come in immediately to do what she felt was necessary to sell our home quickly. She kept us informed from day-1 through the closing. I would recommend Laurie to anyone that is looking to put their home on the market. Selling a home is a stressful experience and she made it almost painless.
In preparation for the sale, Laurie took care of ordering all of the home inspections. She has an extensive network of resources including general contractors, handymen, cleaners and window washers. Laurie also has this awesome storage unit filled with items to help stage the home and make it shine. My home looked like a model home when she was done. The pictures and virtual tour of the home were fantastic.
Laurie is an exceptional realtor. When determining the listing price, she showed me several comps and provided her recommendation. She listed my home on multiple sites and has impressive tools to monitor how well the listing is doing.
After one open house we had three offers, all over the listing price!

Laurie Hansen made the monumental job of preparing for & selling my home of 46 years a problem-free task. She was with me all the way, from the initial decision-to-sell, thru the staging, showing, & finalizing of the sale. Her "Free Staging" claim provided both exterior & interior advice & action.......... from having a landscaper plant over 35 shrubs & flowers to rearranging furnishings & adding tasteful decor items thruout the home. Potential buyers were impressed w/ the total look the minute they stepped inside, & the property sold in less than 24 hours, w/ no need for back-up offers, altho there were many. Laurie even stayed w/ me on Moving Day, stopping by several times to make sure things were going well........ even buying huge deli sandwiches & beverages for my moving crew! Laurie is not only an excellent sales rep, she delivers on time results. Here and her husband became good friends in the time we spent together, which was quiet a bit. Lauri, if your listening, when it comes time to sell our place in Nevada City, and God please never let that time come, you will be our live in RE agent.

In short, I have never worked with a more pleasant, dependable, and customer focused RE person, and I've sold four homes. Please give her what ever she wants, she's worth it.

Laurie Hansen is a terrific asset. Over the past twenty years, she has helped me sell three properties in the Santa Clara Valley and as well as buy one other. She has a great understanding of the San Jose Real Estate market. She has helped me find an under-valued property in a terrific Blossom Valley neighborhood during a hot real estate market: a real diamond in the ruff. Recently she advised me on the preparation of a Trust property for the market, which due to her guidance, I was able to add substantially more value than the renovation investment, and then she sold the property within a week at 10% over our asking price. She works all hours, and is very helpful in guiding you through the myriad of paperwork related to a real estate sale. It makes a big difference having a knowledgeable Real Estate Agent, and she is the best in the Valley.
