My name is Michael Sousa and I was born and raised in MD. I have 2 amazing young daughters which love the outdoors and playing hide and seek. About 8 years ago I decided to look into solar as a homeowner. I was interested in going green, saving money, but most of all I wanted solar to help sell my home. It worked like a charm. I sold in 8 hours for full asking price. After that I was so impressed with solar I started looking into employment opportunities. It's been a little over 6 years now, and joining the SunRun team was truly one of the best decisions I've ever made. So far I've helped out 100's of families go solar, and several are now new friends that i go fishing with, and exchange cooking recipes. It's a great feeling to know that your making a difference every day with the work that you do.

Michael spent as much time with us as needed for us to totally understand Solar. We compared his quote with another company's. Was a no-brained decision! We opted to purchase the system. He told us every step to expect in the process. My install was sooner than expected and my turn-on date was at least a month before the projected date. Looking forward to much lower electric bills!! Let's just say Michael has done a exceptional job. From the first day we've met him he has taken care of us even before we became a customer. Every phase of the process he followed up to make sure everything was going smoothly. He called, email and text to keep us informed about what step was next and what was needed on my side to complete each phase.
