I'm very happy to have Eliot as my real estate agent when I purchased my home in July 2018. Eliot provided excellent service; he was focus and fast in responding any questions I had. One time, we came across a secretive seller's agent who isn't responsive at all, Eliot's relentless follow up finally gotten the agent to answer. I highly recommend Eliot.

Navigating the bay area real estate market can be a daunting task for even seasoned buyers. After looking for over a year by ourselves with little success we were fortunate enough to be referred to Eliot and having him as our agent was the best decision we ever made. Eliot’s direct style and frank assessment of property quality and price to win were instrumental in helping us find the right home at the right price.

Eliot is direct, to the point, but has the patience of a saint. Our priorities shifted several times during the search process and Eliot responded with both on and off-market listing in less than a day every time. His knowledge of the South Bay market is unparalleled, and he made us feel comfortable and supported at every step of the process. He worked tirelessly to find and show us the homes that matched our needs, always returning messages promptly and being flexible to meet whenever the time worked for us.

I cannot recommend Eliot highly enough and anyone looking for a home in the South Bay, starter or beyond, should be lucky enough to have him as their agent. Eliot will be our first call when we are ready to list and the only agent we will let our friends work with!

Eliot is an Ultimate seasoned professional who puts the needs and wants of his clients first! It was a pleasure working with him and I highly recommend him to all potential sellers and buyers. I have worked with many Realtors over the years and find Eliot one of the few agents who tell it like it is without making open ended promises! Bottom line he says what he will do and gets it done. This last home we sold was, did so in three days at a record high. To do this involved sharp conversations, and aggressive plans, and actions. This was only possible through the basic understanding and relationship of trust, which Eliot understands and commits to and is consistent to maintain. There were many, many conversations, plans and actions to accomplish the sell of our home here, Eliot handle each one with ultimate professionalism. If you are looking for a no nonsense seasoned veteran, Eliot gets my vote!

I'm someone who generally dislikes Real Estate agents and originally wanted to do things myself or through Redfin. But after working with Eliot, he really showed me why having a GOOD agent matters. He saved me a bunch of money and time, and taught me a lot throughout in the process. Here are some of the specifics:

* Eliot is experienced and well connected. The house I eventually bought was off-market for various reasons; which is why I was able to get a great deal. It would have been impossible to buy it without Eliot's insider info. Also, I had originally had spent time shopping for a mortgage, but Eliot's referral got me a better rate and more cash back.

* Eliot walked me through the transaction, but I was most impressed with the fact that he not disappear afterwards. He coordinated a bunch of the repairs on my house after the transaction was complete (calling/meeting repairmen). I have NEVER heard of an agent doing this, and I wasn't even sure what to make of it (like... do I need to pay you???) My purchase included a rent-back agreement and he handled everything related to that (even repairs for the tenants).

* Eliot is dedicated and a REALLY hard worker. He responds all hours of the day, we probably saw close to 100 houses together over 9+ months before closing, even holidays like Thanksgiving and New Years Day. You can tell that he likes what he does.

* Eliot knows the homes in the South bay (where I was shopping). He knows the pros and cons of the neighborhoods. He knows what problems to look for in a house (foundation, pest, etc...) and always talks about potential repairs/improvements.

* He does not give off that salesman vibe. Sometimes, we'd walk in to a house and he'd directly say, "oh, you're not going to like this house." Looking back, I was not always a great client. I was really indecisive (constantly changing target price, neighborhood), and sometimes, I did not take his advice which turned out to be right. But he was patient and understanding.

* Eliot took the time to educate me about the whole process (who is trying to do what, and what everyone's incentives are). I feel like most agents have an attitude more like "don't worry about that, just listen to me and sign". but Eliot is good at explaining why things happen the way they do.

Eliot is the best among all the realtors I have worked with over last few years. He is someone with whom you can have open and friendly conversation and it is never about just transaction, negotiation, and pressure tactics. His knowledge of real estate market is great, and he knows well valuation factors and trends of the property. Last but not the least he is really supportive and takes care of you even after transaction is closed. I really appreciate his help with my transaction and will wholeheartedly recommend to anyone planning a real estate transaction.

About a year ago, my husband and I started to daydreaming of the idea of buying a house. We did not think we could afford a house in this area but we weren’t satisfied with our situation renting.

On walks, we started talking about the houses we were passing by. I would point out one I liked and my husband would make a face at me and we would laugh. He would point out what he liked and I would say “Really? You like that?” We did not agree on style of house that we wanted at all. On weekends when we had free time, we started just going by open houses for fun. Most of the time, we would go to open houses that we saw driving by- sometimes looking on craigslist or zillow. We just enjoyed looking at the houses, but I struggled to talk to the pushy real estate agents at the houses. I would get intimidated by them and struggled with how to say we really can’t afford that 1.6 million dollar house and they made us feel guilty for not being pre-approved - we did not actually think we were ready to buy- just enjoyed looking and fantasizing.

One weekend, we were driving around and saw a house that looked cute, with a small exterior and we thought it looked interesting. We walked into a beautiful expansive 2.6 million dollar house and explored this beautiful home, just for fun at this point. We started talking to the agents at the house, Eliot and Craig, and they quickly accepted that we were not the buyers for this house and asked what we were looking for. They seemed to understand that we were still early in the process and not ready to be pushed into one of their houses or another but asked what our styles were and gave us a couple of suggestions for each of our very different styles.

After that, Eliot started sending us a couple of listings on weekends- no pressure- and gave us some options that we may not have seen or considered actually looking at. Not long after, he seemed to understand us and our different styles. We started to get a little more serious- annoyed with noisy neighbors that we shared a wall with in our apartment. Just one month after meeting Eliot, we went out one weekend- had found some listings online and saw a cute house that Eliot had sent us- but thought it was too good to be true. At the end of the afternoon, we walked up to the house that Eliot had suggested, walked through the house and started saying, “I love it, you like it too?” and “ I feel like I could actually live here”- a feeling we had not gotten at any other place we looked and we thought we might be able to afford it.

It was the first weekend the house was on the market and they were taking offers the next week. We called up Eliot as we left the house, not yet pre-approved, and asked how we could make it happen. Eliot had resources to help us figure out the approval process quickly. He talked us through the process of making an offer in a multiple offer situation and helped us to personalize the offer to help the sellers know who we are. He walked us through all the paperwork, making it easy, at least as easy as house buying can be. He got our keys for us since we were out of town the weekend the deal closed and even got us awesome superman and superwoman themed keys! After we moved in, Eliot was a huge help, - giving us suggestions on a couple of fixes we needed and letting us borrow the deep cleaner when one of our cats was less than happy with the moving process.

Within a couple of months of meeting Eliot, we had a house we never could have dreamed that we would have had. It perfectly blended our two styles- something we did not know was actually going to be possible. He did not pressure us and helped us find a house that we absolutely love.

Thanks Eliot!

My wife and I are elated to be writing this testimonial from the comfort of our perfect first home, and we can’t thank Eliot enough for that.

In May 2016 we were looking at open houses just to dream of a home we might one day have if we moved out of our “cozy” apartment. We weren’t sure when, or if, we would have a house to call our own. We dreamed of having some more space, a yard, sharing a fence instead of sharing all our walls, but in months of looking on and off again no house felt quite right and we were scared we couldn’t make it work even if we found the perfect fit. The realtors showing these houses were all too ready to talk us into how it would be perfect for us or sign us up for their mailing lists, but having to fend off their aggressive sales made us feel even less motivated to buy.

One spring afternoon as we were walking around Willow Glen we happened upon an open house with a modest looking exterior but an enormous modern interior and a $2.6 million price point to match. While gawking at the size of the thing we were lucky enough to meet Eliot and Craig who were showing the house. The conversation was light, fun, easy, and they quickly talked us into describing our ideal house in a way we hadn’t even understood ourselves. A far cry from the Realtors we had known to be pushy, too friendly, or intimidating, Eliot stood out as kind, genuine, and helpful. We happily agreed to stay in touch let him send us more open house notices which were closer to our dream house, even if we weren’t ready to buy.

A couple weekends went by, we received a handful of listings from Eliot that we close to what we wanted and within our budget, but we were still happy to just look and dream. What happened next we wouldn’t have believed if we didn’t experience it ourselves. A new house came onto the market we Eliot directed us to the first open house. It was cute in the pictures, within our budget and had the yard and features we wanted, but we thought there was no way it lived up to the listing. As my wife and I walked up to the house, we stood at the threshold to the front door, looked at each other, and in a stunned excited way simultaneously exclaimed “we could live here!”

We called Eliot and the lender he recommended as we walked back to the car. This wasn’t something we planned for, the timeline we’d been telling everyone was months and years, not weeks, but we told Eliot that we want this house and he told us that we would make it happen. The house was listed on Friday, shown on Saturday, and we brought our family by on Sunday. Tuesday we had an offer to the sellers and by that Friday we were in escrow.

It’s not worth going over the boring details, but for all the questions and concerns we had, problems we faced, Eliot was there with an answer and a fix. He was generous with his time and experience making sure we were comfortable and helping us to make informed decisions throughout the whole process. And even once we closed, he was there to make sure everything was right, and when we were hit with unexpected bumps moving in he was there with advice, professional help, and an unfailingly positive attitude.

Eliot is a remarkable mix of smart, funny, efficient, professional and helpful above and beyond what we expected. We can’t say buying a house is an easy task, but you want someone you can trust to get you through all the hoops. Of the dozens of realtors we talked with in open houses all over San Jose, Eliot is who we trusted with our future and can unconditionally recommend.

Happy House Hunting!

Retired ~ Owner of a Retail Store in Woodland
I have known and worked with Eliot Beja for over 16 years. Eliot represented a number of companies from whom I purchased for my retail store. He was always honest, informative, and a man of his word in his contacts between myself and those companies he represented. He is truly a salesman who shows a genuine interest on your behalf. When it comes to Real Estate, I believe, Eliot would be the type of agent that would work for you.

Eliot recently found an apartment for my daughter, and her co-workers in San Francisco, CA. Eliot was professional, and knowledgeable. He helped us choose an area that was in great proximity to their jobs, and shopping, taking into full account safety, and price. He stayed in constant contact with us, giving us updates, and visiting apartments as they became available. He was extremely helpful in assisting with completion, and submission of the rental agreement, and gave advice and recommendations when needed. Eliot worked independently in San Francisco, as my daughter, and her roommates were in various locations throughout the United States. His diligence, and experience was the key to them finding a wonderful apartment.

HomeOwner and Tech Legal Field
Eliot was a great Realtor for us. He represented us in both buying our new Campbell home and, because he did such a great job, selling our old Willow Glen home. What was most pleasing for us was that, rather than show us everything, he listened to our wants and then isolated what we saw to those homes that we would actually consider. So proactive was he that we ended up getting a house before it had even had an open house.

In selling our home, we started advertising just as the market was beginning to turn. With Eliot, that did not matter. Our home was a lovely Willow Glen home but not in the multi-millionaire rows. It sold because Eliot was candid about where it should be pitched, resolute in convincing us to reject offers below that mark and then instrumental in getting above asking (multiple) offers in a turning market.

On a personal note (and which meant a great deal to us), Eliot got on so well with our own dog that we could just leave him with keys and we had not a care in the world.

If you want spin or salesman pitches (who just want quick sales and commissions) there are plenty of realtors out there. If you want one to be an honest, hard working advocate - Eliot is your man.
