Scott did a fantastic job as our buyer agent for a property in Oakland. He started by listening deeply to what we were looking for - our values and priorities - and adapted as our priorities changed a bit during the buying process. He guided us in learning about the city - the quirks and contours of each neighborhood, the school system, the history. He showed us a wide variety of properties that might fit our needs, and was able to show us several pre-market properties thanks to his relationships with the area's top agents. My wife and I were first-time home-buyers in Berkeley. Scott helped us through the entire process. He has great taste and knows what's available in different neighborhoods and at different price ranges. At every open house that we went to, Scott pointed out the pros and cons of each. In addition to seeing a house as it is, he is also great at describing the improvements that could be made to the house -- things like knocking down a wall or adding an extra bathroom. We ended up buying a house from a real estate developer who was difficult to work with, and Scott negotiated a fair deal for us. We would definitely work with Scott again.
