A few years ago, I was involved in a transaction with one of Max's agents. It did not end well, but the other agent and I did everything we could to close the transaction and the other agent thought I would make a good match with their office. Max Boyko, the founder of HBR, and I worked together at another company and formed a friendship based on our mutual respect for each other.
