From a young age in Seattle, Washington, my innate curiosity and entrepreneurial spirit were evident. As a child, my parents would often describe me as precocious, brimming with creativity, and remarkably driven. Even before fully grasping what it meant, I aspired to be an entrepreneur. This journey began with humble ventures like lemonade stands and campfire sales. At 16, my ambition took a more defined shape as I collaborated with my father on innovative plans to launch drive-through coffee shops in California.

Mathematics, with its intricate problems and logical solutions, always captivated me in school. Little did I know, this fascination was a precursor to my future career, where problem-solving and innovation would be at the core of assisting people in achieving homeownership or managing refinances.

Relocating to San Diego, California, at 18 marked a significant turn in my life. In 2001, I embarked on my career in the mortgage industry as a Loan Consultant. Although I initially planned to attend San Diego State University, a career opportunity presented itself a few months before my scheduled admission, leading me to pivot towards the professional world. As the youngest and only female loan officer in my office, I faced a unique set of challenges. However, my passion and determination quickly propelled me to the top, becoming the leading loan consultant in my office. Over the next two years, I consistently earned awards and recognition for my high closing volumes each month.

Now, 22 years later, my passion for my career has only intensified. What fuels my enthusiasm is the joy of helping people, turning the seemingly impossible into reality, and opening doors for many to secure their dream homes. This journey of growth and success in the mortgage industry has been a testament to my dedication and the transformative power of perseverance and innovation.

I have worked with Alexis Roper for several years, and she has always done an outstanding job. In fact, I have referred clients to her that no other lender would touch, and she came through for them and made it happen! I have also used her for several personal refinances. One of the things I like best about Alexis is that she is always honest. As I look around my beautiful brand new home my heart is filled with gratefulness. Alexis Roper and her team are the main reason I can say this today. In March 2019 I closed escrow on a very much needed change of residence. Over the past 5 years I lost my husband to cancer and battled cancer myself two years ago.
