How long have you worked in the industry? Started in consumer finance industry Nov 1986. Spent 8 ½ years in that line of the business; then 2 years with U Lane O Credit Union in Eugene as a consumer loan underwriter from 1995-1997. Then as a consumer and commercial loan officer until 2002, when I transitioned to mortgage lending, at first with First Indy Mortgage Company, and then with Riverview Community Bank, Directors Mortgage, Wells Fargo, and Homestreet Bank.

Education: I’m a Spudder-Born and raised! Clark College; Commercial Banking School, 2000. Credit Union Nat’l Assoc. coursework; Dun & Bradstreet commercial lending coursework; Certified Mortgage Planning Institute, 2016. Numerous seminar and industry related course work in accounting; cash flow, risk and credit analysis; marketing strategies and technique.

Other Information: Current VP, board member, and volunteer since 2003 for the Community Housing Resource Center in Vancouver; past individual Affiliate of the Year with CCAR; currently Director at large with CCAR Affiliate council (past Secretary & Lending Chair). Past volunteer with Battle Ground Chamber of Commerce, local Rotary, Kiwanis, and Moose. Married for 33 years, with two grown kids, and 3 grand children. Passionate about affordable housing for our community. Enjoy reading history, fishing, and gardening, and spending time with my extended family, including our many pets.
