I have had the privilege and joy of knowing and working with Mike on multiple mortgages over a period of eleven years, going back all the way to 2011. I recommend Mike to you with no hesitation or qualification whatsoever.

Moving forward one year, I was able to close on a new home (01/05/22). Mike got me an excellent rate, referred me to a superb realtor, who managed to get me a house in a prime neighborhood in Westchester. I was able to buy the home for less money than it was valued. Mike got my loan started, approved and funded in less than 21 days, even though Christmas and New Years were included in this timeframe.

From the first day of contact to day of funding, Mike was involved, communicative, positive, and hard working.
Our goal was to Refi our home loan and take some money out of the equity in order to have some work done to the property. My husband is self employed, I don't have an income, and we have a rental property. We were told those factors make for a complicated Refi. In fact, Rocket Mortgage (Quicken Loans) turned us down, even with our high credit scores. To be honest, our egos were a little bruised.
We were hesitant to try again, but because of the great recommendation, we gave Mike a call. From minute one, he was easy to talk to, easy to understand, kind and knowledgeable. He explained Quicken likes to fund easy loans, but he wasn't afraid of a little extra work and saw no reason we couldn't Refi and take a cash out.
First things first. Mike sent a list of items he needed, such as bank statements and tax returns. He provided a secure email link system which made sending to him a breeze and without worry. Everything was done online and over the phone, except for signing the final documents, which was done at our convenience with a Notary, at our home. I'm not very techy. Mike made the whole process easy peasy, even for me.
We had heard these things can take 2 or 3 months, so we were prepared for a long wait. However, bc of Mike's dedication and attention to detail, from day of first contact to the date the Refi was complete (including the wire transfer of the cash out) was exactly 21 days! I don't know if that's typical for Mike, but we are certainly impressed.
Other than a small misunderstanding with the Title Co., our Refi was smooth as silk. (BTW, Mike immediately stepped in and resolved the little snafu within an hour). We know this was due to Mike's experience and knowledge of the industry. He seems to enjoy his work and has a genuine interest in helping people with their home loan needs.
