We were lucky that we were matched Solar Energy World as it was one of the easiest things we have ever done. Daren came by and expertly explained everything. While we had read up some, we certainly did not know all of the details, technical or otherwise. In the end, we got a fairly large installation as we are at the top of the hill and all four sides of the roof get sun at different times.
But, really what was most important that was that we did almost nothing. SEW took care of all permits and all contacts with PEPCO as well as applying for state grant money. Installation was done quickly and efficiently. The only thing that people should know is that this is not an instantaneous thing as permits and schedules and such take time. But it is working and working great. The latest PEPCO bill? -$8.37. Yes, minus.

Daren was great to work with and made the process as seamless as possible. He patiently worked with us to tweak the system to meet our needs and gave prompt and helpful responses to our questions and concerns throughout the process. He also helped fast-track the installation so we didn't need to wait a year to file for the tax credit. This process was moderately complex because of multiple installation teams and government/utility agencies being involved but he was instrumental in coordinating everything.

Daren carefully designed a system that was big enough to meet our needs, yet small enough not to require that I pay for a new transformer ( my neighbor has a giant system and with a previous proposal created by someone else I was going to have to pay $4000 to PEPCO for a new transformer).

Daren did a great job when we were looking to get solar panels installed on our home. He guided us through the entire process and gave us all the information we needed to make an informed decision -- including recommending the optimum number of panels to install on our roof for the greatest payback. For anyone who is looking to get solar panels installed on their their homes, I would highly recommend Daren to give you the information you need to move forward. He was great to work with, promptly returned calls and/or emails and is very knowledgeable on this issue.

Daren provided excellent customer service and was very responsive to all my questions. He was very important to my ultimate decision to go with Solar Energy World over Tesla Solar. I enjoyed working with Daren and appreciated his assistance! Daren and his team managed to install the system before the end of 2023 as promised. They are a bit backlogged at the moment so I'm still waiting on them to process my SREC credit and local tax credit. Other than this little bump, from A-Z, the Solar Energy World team did an excellent job.

Great job explaining and outlining the trajectory of the project. Was always available to me through the process which includes permitting and working with local utility.
