We are out of state buyers who knew Shaun casually as he is a friend of a family member.
We were pretty particular buyers because we had a clear idea what we were looking for in a home..
Shaun patiently with engagement and interest participated with us searching for the home which was just right. We saw many homes, liking aspects of several but, though serious in our search, could not make a decision initially. In retrospect we are aware our first dozen homes helped us to understand the local real estate market, discovering what might realistically best meet our needs.
We went home and came back to Idaho two months later ready to buy. Shaun's earlier patience with us, his sharp eye to see possibilities and difficulties, and the fact he valued us as clients gave us confidence in him and we bought a home.
Signing the contract to purchase seemed to put this already attentive agent into high gear. He watched over every aspect of closing, and then assisted us (long distance buyers) in contracting for utilities services, checking to be sure lights and power were on, and in finding local vendors for upgrade work before moving in.
We are a retired couple who prefer doing business face to face. Shaun is fully automated and does much business virtually.
I expressed my bias a couple times to Shaun, and his welcoming response was one of acceptance, understanding, and inclusiveness.

He became our realtor because he was a friend of a family member. But now that our business is concluding he remains our friend, and not only a friend of our daughter' s family.
