As a 24 year veteran of the Real Estate industry, I've spent much of my career in the field. I've worked with 100's of home buyers and sellers, and have succeeded in a wide variety of market cycles. These experiences have given me the knowledge and experience to be a truly qualified resource to both new and seasoned agents.
As a former Managing Broker of Realty ONE Group offices in Nevada & California, my focus was always on coaching, mentoring and training my agents to achieve and then surpass their goals. One of my greatest joys was mentoring new licensees and helping them build lasting and successful Real Estate careers. I'm also grateful for the opportunities I've had to coach, support and train some of the best Top Producing Agents and Teams in the markets I covered.
In my current roles as Chief Learning Officer for Realty ONE Group International and Managing Broker for Realty ONE Group Pacific, I am committed to applying all that I've learned towards helping our agents, franchise owners, office staff, and of course our ONEderful clients succeed in every Real Estate market we serve! Charlie and I lived in our dream home in San Marcos. I was raised in San Marcos, so we decided to raise our children there. We always discussed moving to Texas when Charlie retired from the military to build our next dream home on a lake. Well, that is what happened this year.
When I thought about selling our house, the only person I thought to call was Mark. I had the privilege of teaching both Emily and Sammy when they were in fourth grade at Carrillo Elementary. I met Mark and Kristi when they first moved to Carlsbad when Emily was placed in my class. Kristi was even my room parent (and one of the best I ever had). A few years later, I was honored to have Sammy in my class. This is a teachers dream, to have the same family again.
Selling your dream home is extremely emotional. I needed someone who I could trust, who would have my back but would tell me the honest truth. Mark has impeccable knowledge about real estate. He told us it would sell fast, and it did. But, he never rushed the process. He paced us through each step. He guided us when we had questions and he collaborated with us when we made decisions. We were a team. That is what made it an easy transition.

I joined Realty One Group a little over a year ago while I was looking for a home to purchase. A few days after I joined, I found the home I wanted and needed to write an offer quickly. I had not written an offer in quite some time and needed help! It was a Sunday afternoon, so I did not think I would get a response. I emailed Mark and asked if he could review my offer and let me know what changes needed to be made. I was not expecting such a quick response, especially on a Sunday.....but Mark emailed me back right away and we emailed back and forth until my offer was ready to submit. He helped me with changes, made suggestions and was extremely instrumental in helping me put together a good and strong offer that I was able to submit that day. I would not have been able to do it without him and thanks to Mark...I got my house! I would not have received such a prompt response or help on a Sunday at my previous broker. I was very impressed at how quickly Mark responded to me and how helpful he was! I would absolutely recommend him!
