I just completed both a ACLS and PALS class this week. The staff was very accommodating and the instructor was absolutely amazing!!! I highly recommend LBW for all your cert needs . (I did my TNCC there also??)
Hannah was an excellent instructor! She was kind, very easy to understand and taught us exactly what we needed to know with appreciation for our time as well. Highly recommend her at LBW Training center for all of your education needs!

My partner and I are expecting our first baby in a few months. We took the Friends and Family CPR course taught by Frank last weekend and would recommend it to everyone. The class was two hours, taught in person with hands-on practice. Frank began the class by asking everyone why they were there, then proceeded to individualize recommendations and instruction to each of us given our circumstances.

He spent a lot of time talking about children and infant CPR while also demonstrating what to do when a baby chokes. He was knowledgeable, thorough, kind, and cautionary (without being a fear-mongerer.) We're glad we signed up for the class!

Prior to taking the LBW training class I was not sure what I would do if faced with an emergency; a family member or friend in need of CPR with no time to waste.

The LBW class was fantastic. Frank covered every detail. The practice time, the hands on experience has resulted in my personal confidence that I would & could jump in and do everything it takes to increase someone's chance of survival.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Thank you Frank, Amanda and Janet for providing a great CPR class. I learned how to do CPR and how to use the AED on adults, children and babies, both by watching videos and hands on practice on mannequins.
They answered all of our questions and made sure we were doing the procedures correctly.
I recommend that everyone learn these important skills and LBW is the place to go to get the best training.

John Meser was an excellent teacher. He was very clear on everything for the class. He answered our questions and gave lots of examples. He is the best teacher I have had as my BLS instructor.

Nursing Student
I chose to take the ACLS course prior to starting my final Block 4 semester of nursing school. Taking the course and certification at LBW was the best decision I could have made. The environment is so welcoming and made the 2 days very enjoyable. Not only did our amazing instructor Hannah thoroughly cover all ACLS material, she provided additional instruction on some of the more complex rhythms and concepts to help with understanding. I could tell she not only was incredibly experienced in the AHA ACLS protocols, but also has a passion for patient care and teaching. I learned so much and would recommend any nursing student jumping in and getting certified before their critical care rotations. LBW is where I will be going for all future certifications and renewals!

I had to take the ACLS course for my job. Signing up and registering for the class was simple. This was a two-day class first part of the morning was dedicated to BLS and the 2nd part was for ACLS.

Hannah was by far one of the best instructors I've ever had. She went through the information so thoroughly and paused if we had questions. She was funny which made class time fly by. She used her knowledge as a nurse and incorporated stories to make the information relevant and engaging which made the information easy to remember.

I have always feared EKG strips and she broke down each rhythm to the basics that I FINALLY understood the material and not just memorized the strip. I will defiantly be sending my friends and retake the certification here again if Hannah is still there in two years!

One thing to note: If you are taking ACLS the BLS portion will be included in the course. If you did not pay for the BLS portion you will not need to take the test and get your certification. My advice would be to just pay for both and have both certifications updated or recertified at the same time. You are still there for the same amount of time might as well take the test! I had to register in the front after we had a break to register for the BLS which was simple, and I got the book from them. Honestly not bothered at all for the extra fee as my BLS was about to expire in the next 6 months. I did overhear Hannah state if you have taken BLS course at one of their facilities within the week of your ACLS you might not have to take that part and come in later in the class but ALWAYS confirm! They are amazing at communication don't be afraid to ask!

I have been going to LBW Training Center for a long time. Every time I go there I come back refreshed and ready to do my work. The instructors are very good at what they do, the hands on activities makes it real and the use of mannequin gives us a chance to practice as if we are in a real situation . I would recommend LBW to anyone who wants to learn how to perform a good CPR because it helps to save lives when you know what you are doing when the time comes.

John Meser is by far one of the best instructors I have ever had. He is extremely knowledgeable and easy to approach. I would highly recommend him to anybody who is considering taking an ACLS/ BLS class for the first time, in all seriousness probably any class he instructs. He presented content in a manner that kept you engaged the entire class. He allowed time for Q&A to reflect on topics covered. I look forward to renewing in 2 years or possibly taking another class in the future with LBW.
