During the process of purchasing my first home I selected a lender from another bank that ended up not having enough knowledge to expedite my home purchase by the close date. I was running out of time and decided to make a last minute change to Home Street Bank. I contacted Jessica Santana (Home Street loan officer) and explained the situation. She was clearly knowledgable about the process and in minutes she assured me that she could complete the process before the deadline. Jessica and her team went above and beyond to expedite the closure. She was masterful, knowledgable, efficient and professional and was able to close on my home and identify additional purchase credits that I did not even know existed. Her services were excellent and I returned to Jessica in 2017 for my refinance. If you are a first time home buyer, Jessica will answer all your questions without leaving you feeling like an amateur.

In the spring and summer of 2015 I used the Hometown Home Loan program to purchase a condo. It’s a wonderful program and Jeff Wood and his team are very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. In the summer of 2017 I asked Jeff about refinancing my mortgage. This was such an easy process, everything was done online and quickly, about 5 weeks start to finish. Someone even came to me to get all of the signatures for closing. I can highly recommend these programs and especially Jeff Wood.
