In the summer of 2019, I signed on to work with Crum Realty Inc…the oldest brokerage in the Winchester area, family owned and operated for over 70+ years!

I am proud to call Front Royal home for myself and my 3 children, not to mention energetic pets. We are very active community members and love to support local causes. Every year we look for new ways to contribute! Current passions are the Humane Society, House of Hope (homeless program), and Front Royal Women’s Shelter. I am also a member of the Chamber of Commerce and a Front Royal Independent Business Alliance as well.

It is our immense pleasure to recommend Jenn … as a real estate agent for any individual or family searching for the ideal home. As the last of our children approached adulthood, we decided to find a home more suitable to an older couples changing needs. A place we could relax in like a vacation home, but which interesting and big enough that our children and grandchildren would want to come frequently to visit and occasionally stay a bit.

Jenn had an initial meeting with us and took diligent notes regarding our specific needs as well as our budgetary limitations. She is adept technologically and made excellent use of the relevant resources and real estate databases to help us stay ahead of a fast moving housing market. Over the course of a few months she patiently helped us decide exactly what was and was not important to us and how to find it. Jennifer is as good a teacher and organizer as she is an agent. Our new home has everything we were originally looking for as well as many things we didn’t realize we could also have.

Well versed in contract negotiations, Jenn helped us come up with a deal that was good for us and made the seller happy as well. It was her expertise and timely suggestions that put us across the finish line just ahead of stiff competition for our new home. She knows the Warren County area like the back of her hand and the relationships she has developed with other realtors and professionals in the area also turned out to be critical in helping us seal the deal. There seems to be nothing that escapes Jenn’s attention when it comes to property for sale in this area.

We found Jenn to be a highly attentive agent and at times it seemed like we were her only customer, although we know that was not the case. She returned all phone calls and emails the same day. We never felt neglected or unimportant. She is also very approachable, with an engaging personality, excellent listening skills, and an enthusiasm for finding us a home that made her a pleasure to work with.

We are pleased to recommend Jenn to anyone looking to buy or sell a home. She is hands down the best in the business in our opinion and if ever our children, friends or extended family ever wish to settle long term in Warren County she will be the real estate agent we will insist they use. If you need a realtor that knows her stuff (along with all kinds of other info) give Jen Avery a call.
After our mother passed we were going through the hard process of selling her home and contents. Jen was amazing in helping us get movers and all kinds of help, including getting someone's trash removed from our yard!
She is very knowledgeable and will get you the best offer on your home!

Three words I would use to describe Realtor Jennifer Avery are professional, dependable and resourceful. With Jen’s help, I recently purchased a home in Front Royal - from Atlanta, Georgia. Jen was recommended to me by a business owner in Front Royal, when I asked who she would use to buy a home. (It seemed everyone in Front Royal knew Jen’s name, if not her personally.) Prior to my visit to tour prospective homes in Front Royal, Jen created an online, MLS home search with the criteria I requested. The search sent me emails when new homes were posted, and I could create new searches, myself. When we did meetup in Front Royal on a Saturday to visit homes, Jen had done her homework. She came with a folder of info on each home. We determined the home I wanted that day, and within a month, it was purchased. Jen worked closely with the seller realtor to keep the process moving and had great recommendations for home inspectors and service companies to provide detailed reports about home systems. Jen made purchasing a home from out-of-town a less stressful experience. We are so thankful to now know her as a friend and great realtor!

Jen did a wonderful job helping me to make the right decisions when selling home. She was with me every step of the way and very patient with my endless questions. Jen did an amazing job photographing and videotaping my house to list it and I had multiple showings scheduled quickly and an offer within days. I had property to sell out of state at a time when property just wasn't selling well. Jen went the extra mile in presenting it and showing it for me. I worked with other area realtors from different firms and none were as responsive, as professional, or as successful as Jen. If you have property to sell and are looking for a realtor in this area - save time and frustration - use her first!

Working with Jen Avery is amazing! She was always available! Always gave great advice and was easy to work with. It was a hard time for me, my mom had recently passed and it was her house I was selling. Jen worked with me to get a timeline, what needed to be done and we were under contract within a week of listing. She always made sure I was aware of what the next steps were and when they were going to happen. I would be happy to recommend her (and I do) and work with her again!

Jen Avery was with me every step of the way. She listened to me when I wanted to list my home for higher than she thought. She felt my pain when my first contract fell through right before closing. She knew people who could do repair work and even someone who could help move my riding tractor to my daughter's house. She respected all the work I had put into the house and got me top dollar for it. I recommend her for any of your buying/selling needs.
