Michelle began her real estate career in 2014 when she came to work for Mo & Farah Bani-Taba as an office manager for their previously known "Intero Lincoln" office, now Compass. At the time, Mo and Farah were Intero Franchise owners. She began to learn about real estate as she interacted with agents in the office. Michelle always wanted to work in real estate so she could help her parents achieve the American Dream of owning a home as well as for her and her future family. Her parents, who are immigrants, worked to provide for Michelle and her sister, giving them what they did not have while growing up. Within a year of working in the office, she knew that she loved what Realtors® do and could make a difference in individuals' lives; therefore, she decided to apply for her real estate license. Michelle took her test and passed it on the first try. She was so excited to begin her new career and work to help people. The feeling one gets after making a difference in someone’s life is one that cannot be explained. This is why she always strives to treat everyone like family and input her full effort to support each client as they find their dream home. After having worked with two previous realtors with vastly disappointing results, I was fortunate enough to work with Michelle Rubio. Right away, I noticed a complete night and day difference between Michelle and other realtors. Michelle was attentive to my needs, had unmatched communication, and consistently went above and beyond.
Not only did Michelle help me find a house that met my requirements (which were admittedly selective), she helped me navigate and understand the process. And there were a lot of things that came up. First, the home was tenant occupied. Michelle took extra precautions to ensure that I was protected, and the tenants were out. Second, when the pest inspector did a terrible job, Michelle help get my money back from the pest control company (which already knew her since she researched and helped set up all the inspections). Finally, we ran into issues with my loan officer and his assistant who became increasingly unresponsive, and both ended up leaving the company with 2 or so weeks to close. However, Michelle was constantly reaching out to them to make sure everything went according to plan without delays. When the new loan office took over, Michelle worked tirelessly with the new loan officer to ensure the file was completed. Everything was timely submitted on our end to close on the closing date.
But not to leave the best part out... she negotiated in incredible deal, resulting in a 5 figure lower sale price than the appraisal and substantial closing cost credits. Of course, price and credits may vary depending on the property, but with Michelle, you know you're in good hands and that you are getting the best deal possible.

Above and beyond is an understatement when it comes to Michelle!! It took my husband and I longer than usual to find a home. We had a couple of set backs throughout the process and each time Michelle was right there waiting for us and ready to show us homes as soon as we got situated. When it came down to financing we went through a couple of lenders before Michelle referred us to Diana Legaspi who really made it happen for us as well. Every time there was a home we were interested in she always looked into the area and the neighborhood and did always did extra on what she could find on the home. We have kids so she would even tell us if there was a home that was on a main or busy street and we would automatically avoid going to look at that one. Each home we made offers on I would ask her for her opinion she would give it to me and it honestly helped us make our decision. Its a tough market so we did put multiple offers before we found our home, but on each offer we made she made them strong. Even when we felt discouraged after multiple offers not getting accepted she kept telling us don't give up. We were indecisive on which city we wanted to live in and each time we changed our minds she still drove between both cities to show us homes. We are so happy with our home and I can't thank Michelle enough! Anyone who is interested in buying a home I highly recommend Michelle!
