Melanie Hogg

Melanie Hogg is a licensed Virginia Realtor, and co-owner of Hogg Real Property Services, a property management company in the Washington, DC area. Inspired by several friends in real estate, and a husband who had spent time in the construction management industry, Melanie found the courage to start a new career in real estate while maintaining full time employment over 7 years ago.

In just over seven years in the industry, Melanie has completed transactions totaling more than $20M in value and helped found a property management company with properties totaling nearly $7M in value. Melanie is recognized by her clients as genuine, professional, and highly dedicated to serving her clients. She brings a unique set of skills leveraging technology including data analytics, social media, and other Internet services for marketing and market intelligence, while always remembering that real estate is a business based on relationships. Melanie views her work as a long-term endeavor, wanting to build a lifelong relationship with her clients and other industry partners. Her business continues to grow organically because of her industry expertise, her ability to understand her client’s needs, while also being candid and honest with clients at all times. Melanie works with a team of professionals that can provide additional services such as investment property analysis, renovations, and financing.

Melanie is a Pittsburgh native who attended the University of Pittsburgh and moved to Northern VA area in 2005. She resides in West End Alexandria with her husband, Jeremy, son and daughter, and dog Romeo.
In her free time, Melanie enjoys exercising, cooking, and entertaining friends and family.
