I have lived in Chattanooga since 1984 having graduated from Hixson High School and the UTC School of Business where my father John Alvis was an accounting professor. I have been a full-time Realtor licensed in Tennessee and Georgia since 2003 and I've spent most of my time living and working in the North Chatt/Rivermont/Red Bank areas. However, I list and sell homes all over the Greater Chattanooga area including everywhere from Cleveland, TN to Signal Mtn to Lafayette, GA. Currently I am part of a team at Real Estate Partners who sponsors the UTC Department of Athletics. Go Mocs! On the weekends you will likely find me out listening to live music or enjoying one of our many great festivals, out on the trail at Stringers Ridge, at the Sports Barn in Hixson, or maybe playing golf at Sweetens Cove in Jasper (when I'm not working).

When I started my journey to buy a house, I didn't really like realtors. In my eyes they where all pushy and wanted to sell you what they wanted you to buy. At the time Johnny was helping my son and daughter-in-law find/buy a house. I had looked at a couple places before hiring Johnny.
