Kat Rains

Kat Rains is, by far, the best realtor with whom I have ever worked--and I've worked with many over the last three decades. I liked Kat from the moment I happened to walk into the BARB Co office to ask for advice on renting in San Francisco. She is a great listener and does her homework. She was able to find properties for us to consider that met all our particular needs in a very timely fashion.

So, when it came time to sell a family property, I naturally thought of Kat. And she didn't disappoint. She amazed me and my family with a very comprehensive, well-thought out plan for the preparation, marketing, and pricing of our property. So, we signed on with her right away. And then it was all a whirlwind after that because Kat was able to get our property ready for showing within a few short weeks. (At the same time, Kat also helped us through all the dreaded paperwork.) The property ended up looking so good that we were almost tempted not to sell!

I fully appreciated how Kat kept us abreast of every development leading up to the showing of our property, and afterwards when the offers started coming in. She made us feel secure that we had a strong, fair, and ethical advocate. The property ended up selling in a very timely fashion and for a price with which we were very pleased. Kat could not have made it easier for us!!

It takes a village to properly and effectively prepare a property for sale, and then execute that sale. Kat brought in the right talent at every step of the process. And even the Title Company sang her praises--they like working with her too!

In sum, selling a family property can be a very emotionally and physically taxing experience. You need a realtor who is knowledgeable, trustworthy, hard-working, and intuitive. Kat is that person.

I've been passively searching for a home for about 3 years now and just started talking to Kat about ramping up again earlier this year. I don't know if 5 stars is enough to give Kat Rains of Barbagelata real estate. We also were lucky to work with Sandy Gandolfo as well. It was very much a team effort. The process of selling your home is overwhelming, emotional and exciting all at the same time. Kat & Sandy handled my husbands and I outbursts, cries and constant questions with sensitivity and ease. We were in constant communication. I get emotional just talking about how helpful they were. On top of all that hand holding with us she also helped us get our pie in the sky price for the sale of our home! You can't go wrong with Kat (or Sandy)as your agent.
