I met Marty because he was the contact that received my email with interest in my (now) house. He was an affable guy, friendly and deeply respectful from moment one...
I say this because as an older woman on her own, you never know what kind of responsive you are going to get. "Hey, how's the grandchildren" or "enjoying retirement" or some harmless but annoying way that "professionals" like to "connect" . Marty didn't say anything to me, he chose to listen first. And listen he does.... I found him to be smart about the details, experienced in that way that he knows what's a issue and what's not. His professionalism is in his character so it's not a marketing game.... Marty listened to me first... and since he did he could assess that I had experience and needed him to be the liaison. In another case, a client might be a new homebuyer and he would and could assess where that person was at and how his skills would be best used to smooth their way. His approach is one of an ally. A knowledgeable professional who gets where his client is and meets them there. No fanfare, no drama, this father of 5 has "seen it all" and his calm deep sense of himself, his community and his work reflect in his service. I fell in love with the guy and can't wait to find my next house (number 11...) under his guidance.
