I was born in Venezuela and lived in Colombia, Panama and El Salvador before moving to the western suburbs of Chicago in 1978. After graduating from high school, my father and I went on a motorcycle tour of the Western United States. We rode for 10 days covering over 6000 miles. My fondest memories of the trip were the few days we spent riding through the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Thus, as soon as I graduated with a BA in Economics from Eastern Illinois University, I packed up and moved to Colorado. My first job out of college was as a Mortgage Lender with Columbia Savings. Since that time I have been involved in financial services and insurance.
