My wife and I have been working with Kirk and Lisa for a couple years. We had some pretty specific criteria but were not in a rush to buy so we took our time and monitored the listings for a couple years. Over this time, Kirk would periodically check in with us, but was not pushy about it at all. When we saw a potential house Kirk was always responsive and would arrange a showing quickly. Kirk did a few market valuations for us throughout this time to help us decide if and what to offer. They were all very accurate and close to the ultimate sale price of the properties. He understands the current market trends well. Once we began the purchase process on our house, he helped us prepare a competitive offer. His familiarity with different local lenders and inspectors was invaluable. Even with a unique property that had some challenges to navigate with counter offers and such, the whole process went so quickly and smoothly that when the time came, I was surprised that we had already gotten to the point of signing the closing documents. I have bought houses with and without a realtor, and going through the process with Kirk was so much easier than going it by myself. I definitely recommend working with Kirk if you have the chance.

We consider ourselves lucky that Kirk and Jerry, NextHome Arctic Sun, agreed to work with us when we were tasked with the job of selling our father’s hunting and fishing lodge after he passed. From our very first conversation, they were informative, organized, thoughtful, and patient. They were always available for a phone conversation and responded to our texts and emails in a timely manner. Though our situation wasn’t the typical house selling situation, they were very knowledgeable. They went above and beyond in dealing with lawyers, survey companies, and title companies. They really stepped up and took control so that our responsibilities/stresses were diminished. It was very easy to work with them both even when things were challenging. I really would like to thank both of them for their competence, flexibility, and professionalism!! If I need another realtor in the future, I would not hesitate to employ Kirk and Jerry again! They were exceptional!!

Kirk was exceptional in helping my wife and I locate and get into our very first home!

Moving from out of state and purchasing a first home during an international pandemic was a daunting task, but Kirk stayed with us the whole way and provided outstanding customer service. Kirk provided us with updates on homes that came on the market almost instantly and offered valuable insight about the various neighborhoods around the Fairbanks and North Pole area. He walked us through every step along the way, and went out of his way to provide us with virtual walkthrough tours, guidance through the inspection, appraisal, and closing process.

Even after closing, Kirk continued to provide outstanding service by ensuring our home didn't freeze up while we were in transit to AK, and by helping us navigate through some of the unique challenges associated with settling in Alaska.
