My wife and I were searching for a starter home for our daughter and her husband and we wanted them close to us. We didn't think we could afford the Peninsula, so we were looking at the East Bay and figured our daughter would need to commute to work. Susana DeLeon helped us look for a home in our price range in the East Bay, but we were getting out bid. Susana told us to keep our hopes up and not give up. She encouraged us to keep looking and she gave us hope in finding the right home. Susana was able to find us our dream home in San Mateo County, so our daughter would be close to us and close to work. Susana did an outstanding job and worked great with the seller's realtor. 2020 has definitely been one crazy year and it showed. Although I was hoping for a drastic change in the housing market due to COVID, which much didn't change, I luckily had Susana there to guide me. She asked me what I was looking for in a home and really tried her hardest to help me find something on the peninsula with a sprinkle of searching in the east bay to accommodate my budget. It had seemed as though we were searching forever with no luck on either side of the bay! We were either outbid or there was too much to invest. Thankfully one day we came across a starter home on the peninsula that checked off so many boxes, it seemed too good to be true! Although my husband and I took a risk with our bid, Susana had worked her magic and we received a counter offer! I was almost in disbelief, we hadn't received any counter offers or pendings from any of the other homes we had seen. Next thing I know, Susana is walking me through all the processes of being able to call that house MY home. Just when we were getting ready to put house hunting on hold, Susana was there helping every step of the way. I wouldn't have been able to purchase my first home without her. I highly recommend Susana! She is very patient, very thorough, and truly makes herself available any time of day to answer any questions!

Susana went above and beyond my expectations. I could not have done this with out her by my side. Buying a house is an intimidating process. She made the process a whole lot easier, and she really put my mind to ease. She is a great communicator and guided me every step of the way. I never hesitated to reach out to her to ask questions because she really made herself available at all times of the day. My home buying experience was different than most due to Covid-19 and the shelter in place order, but Susana made my first home purchase journey easy and pleasant. She started with asking me what my ideal home would look like- how many rooms, how many bathrooms, yard or no yard, etc. Every home listing that she sent me to look at had everything I wanted (and was even within my price range!). Once we got further into it,she made sure to clearly explain the process, the timeline of what was to follow and all the forms I was signing.
