We are new to college financial planning. While we were able to gather bits and pieces of information from the internet, there is really no substitute for speaking with an expert! Shannon explain the process and walked us through our options clearly. She not only saved us time and money, but also saved us from the stress of trying to figure things out on our own. Wow, what an incredible resource! I learned so much from the videos, as well as the 1:1 meeting I had with a rep from The HEFAR Group. There are so many things I wasn't aware of in the financial side of planning, to the cost of the universities that my child was considering. This is an invaluable resource that I am so grateful for. This was a wonderful experience from the onset, and I look forward to working with them with my other children.

The attention to detail and time spent discussing the in's and out's of the FAFSA helped clarify a great deal of information for me. Their advice helped me lower my EFC by nearly half! Shannon was great, we learned a lot about financial aid and ways to lower our EFC, which is important. There are new rules and the rules can be confusing and counterintuitive, it helps to have someone confirm and suggest ways to create the best opportunities for our kids.

I have learned so much from the first presentation to the online mini workshops to working with the knowledgeable advisor in the online portal to learn how to lower my EFC. I NEVER would've learned this on my own! Thank you, HEFAR Group, for making this intimidating process so much easier!

Shannon and the Hefar group were so helpful - really appreciated all her helpful and insightful advice and expertise for Calei's college process. I'll get back to you on results. Takes the edge off a bit for sure.
I have even referred her already to a friend whose daughter same age, a former classmate of Calei. The college process needs to be streamlined, more efficient, easier to understand and more upfront with much needed information especially about scholarships because our children are so worth it.
