Kathy responded almost immediately to our initial inquiry to look into the house, and that was at 9 AM on Sunday morning ! I keep a very busy work schedule, and she got us in to look at the house on a Sunday afternoon, the day that we saw it listed. She didn’t badger us, she didn’t push us, but when we needed something …by God, she was there.

When we first reached out to Next Home Simplicity, we spoke with Andrew, who soon assigned Kathy Serpas to be our realtor. My husband and I were brand new homebuyers who didn't really know what to expect going into all of this, aside from surface level research. Kathy did an amazing, phenomenal job educating us, guiding us through the process and even working with our graveyard shift sleep schedule.

She showed us a lot of beautiful houses in many great neighborhoods, but also used her expertise and contacts to check each property before scheduling a visit, warning us of any concerns such as bad neighborhoods, poor value in the area or high crime rates. In every respect, she went above and beyond and was both the most friendly and laid back, but also professional person I've had the pleasure to have help me. Even after we closed and moved into our house, Kathy continues to assist us with her knowledge and answer the plethora of questions we have about early homeownership.

Five stars isn't enough. Wish I could give more.

Kathy was very easy to work with! We were living out of town while looking for a home and could only do showings on weekends, mostly on Sundays. Kathy was very flexible and accommodating with our schedule and would do her best to make the most out of our limited time. She was always kind, friendly and very helpful. After two long months of showings, offers and two cancelled contracts, we finally found the perfect home, all thanks to Kathy's patience and commitment to helping us through the process. THANK YOU!

Kathy was awesome! Even though the time difference and my physical location might be more challenging than traditional arrangements, she did not hesitate to say yes when I asked her to be my agent. She was very responsive, had a great understanding of the processes and represented my interests fully in the negotiations. I purchased the 4-plex site unseen but felt very comfortable relying on her real estate expertise and knowledge of the area. The process was very smooth (even from 5,000 miles away) and I would highly recommend Kathy to anyone looking for a professional and responsive agent.

Kathy was awesome! I did not know her before starting to look for a home and she and her husband were great. She set up showings at places we thought we may like and ones we found online. Kathy listened to what we were looking for and then found better places and explained features of the neighborhood. I really appreciated there was no pressure or "up-selling." When it came time to go to closing, Kathy was a rock star! Let's just say (due to no fault of her or I) it took some doing to actually close on the house. Kathy was right there to do whatever she could do to get it done. Thank you! I highly recommend Kathy for whatever your real estate needs are.

Kathy is a great, attentive, smart and accommodating real estate agent that knows the market and guides you from start to finish. Being from West Texas and not knowing anything about the area from a buyers perspective it is difficult to find a good person and agent. We found both in Kathy. She has both those qualities in spades.She always has a smile on her face and is sincere about helping to find the right property at the right price and is not afraid to tell you of potential pitfalls or benefits a particular property.
