Marina Levchinsky helped us buy a beautiful house in Chesterfield as well as sell our original house in Valley Park. She possesses good negotiating skills and was able to secure a reasonable price for the house in Chesterfield, by knocking off $18,000 from the price. She also was able to more than match any financing offer I was able to obtain. Marina also helped us put our house on the market in Valley Park, and we were able to obtain an offer in a buyer's market in about a week. She also gave us good advice on how to best present the house, and recommended an excellent painter. He did a great job painting several rooms in the house as well as fixing things in the house including the bathroom floor. Buying and selling a house is tricky, frustrating and scary, and we were able to call Marina at all times of the day or evening and she guided us through difficult times. I think this is very important, and Marina put a tremendous amount of time into helping us with a variety of concerns. The day before closing, we found out the carpet in the Chesterfield home was damaged during the move by several pets. Marina was able to secure a settlement that we found very reasonable. Marina had excellent knowledge of the home buying/selling process which was extremely helpful as this was our first time buying a house. It was a very confusing process for my wife and I, and Marina did a great job of making everything as transparent as possible and proactively answering some questions she thought we may have.

Marina was always available via phone or email at all times. There were some days where we would talk 5-6 times a day. As the market lately has been really hot and home were going the day they were put up for sale, Marina's responsiveness really paid off and we never felt that we would be too late in putting an offer down.

Marina was extremely knowledgeable about the market, especially in the areas we were looking. She often saved us lots of times by just knowing an address and telling us if we should or should not spend the time walking the house. She also was very in tune with the school districts down to the elementary schools which was also important as we have our first child on the way.

Marina clearly communicated with us every step of the way. Again, being new home buyers, it can be a very intimidating process and she was able to explain some of the more confusing aspects of this process in very easy to understand ways.

Marina had great attention to detail. Whether that was reviewing and writing the contracts to walking houses, we felt that everything was identified and clearly communicated.

This was probably one of Marina's strongest skills. As i mentioned we were working with difficult sellers and this often made certain situations very uncomfortable. But, Marina was able to handle the sellers and their agent very well and in the end make sure that we got what we wanted in the end.
