This was my first experience buying a home/condo. Also, I was buying from out of state so I had limited time available to view properties. Jim was very good at explaining the whole process to me and clarified a lot of questions I had. I found him to be very knowledgeable and patient with a novice. He worked very fast when I found something I liked, to get the home under contract. He went out of his way to be available during key times when I was in the area, even on New Year's Eve. He gave me a lot of contacts for service people, painters, cleaners, etc. that I might need as I prepared to move. I was very happy with the help I received from Jim Staten and would recommend him to others.

Bobby Jo is the GOAT (greatest of all time). Simply give Bobby Jo your pre-approval letter for a mortgage and a few of your ideas and she will do the rest. She negotiated the best price for me (below asking price). We literally found my home in 2 days! She has every resource you could possibly need for pre and post closing plus all of her resources works just as hard as she does. She is a ball of energy. She works around the clock. She helped my friend purchase a home and it was him that recommended her. She supported me throughout the process AND after. You don’t need to have any knowledge about the home buying process. She explains everything in full details and is extremely transparent. Every year she sends my friend holiday gifts. She even gave me a closing gift! We met Ted in 2018 at an open house. If I remember correctly, he was newer to the real estate business but he was so genuine, it set him apart from other agents so he became our agent and helped us buy our first home. Six years (and many lunches) later, he's still the same genuine, caring person and he helped us sell our first home as well. He made us feel comfortable and reassured during a process that is stressful in general. Our house was a bit of an outlier at the time we had to sell but he came to the table with a binder full of information/data and helped us sell WAY above asking. We also had to move out of state before the actual closing so he helped us navigate that from 600+ miles away! Ted comes highly recommended by us and we wish he had his MD real estate license so he could help us out here too.

I cannot recommend Lane enough! As a first time home buyer, my head was spinning thinking about all one needs to consider when purchasing a home. From getting pre qualified, viewing homes, submitting and negotiating offers, scheduling an inspection, through to the final walk through and signing, he was able to answer all our questions.
He was extremely knowledgeable about the areas we were looking at houses in, and taught my wife and I a lot about what to look for when walking through a home for the first time - many things I would not have thought to look for.
