I recently sold my house in New Jersey and relocated to Charlotte. The process was a nightmare and my selling agent made me feel as if I was working for him! Buying a home can be daunting but from the beginning of the process, Bobby was more than helpful! His “dating style” approach to touring homes makes it quick and easy to narrow down what house and/or neighborhood you see yourself living in. Both Bobby and Jayme were constantly available to answer any of our questions. Bobby even added in a few extra homes as a surprise on tour days. Bobby was also great to key in on things that were important to both my husband and I so that we each found the exact home to match our individual wants and needs. Plus, he was very honest when answering all our questions. Concerned the kitchen won’t serve the way your family functions? Ask Bobby! Worried about the amount of storage space? Ask Bobby! Wondering how a home would fit your growing or empty nest family? Ask Bobby! After making an offer on a home, Jayme then took the reins and made sure that we were simultaneously organized going forward with the sale of one home and purchasing our dream home. We quickly learned that buying and selling homes is a full-time job and thanks to Jayme, we were able to continue focusing on our daily lives without having to worry about the sale and purchase of homes thanks to her constant communication and superior organizational skills. Bobby and Jayme are the home buying dream team! If we ever decide to move from the dream house they helped us locate, Bobby and Jayme will be our first call!

Bobby, Jayme and Jackie were so great. From start to (almost) finish. They were our buying and our listing agents! We, like a lot of people, have been looking for our next house for quite a while. I would throw in the towel and get frustrated and when I would come back, they were always kind and accommodating. They showed us houses with potential and houses that were move in ready and everything in between until we eventually found our new home. It's an emotional (for me anyway) and stressful process but Jayme was always there to help us through and Bobby never stopped working to get everything just right for us. They protected us and looked out of our interests and never let us down. Jackie kept everything running smoothly behind the scenes once we were under contract. It's been a long road and I am so glad they were by our side the whole way.

Downey Properties provided us with exceptional Service, particularly because we were coming in from out of town. Bobby took us to properties in our stated price range, with our amenities preferences and location. The Downey team assisted us in putting together several contracts before we were able to come to terms for the house we finally purchased and guided us through the process of home inspection and repair prior to the sale as well as the final document signing.

Bobby Downey was an exceptional realtor. We were introduced to him by our niece. He went above and beyond what we were expecting. He kept us informed daily of houses that met our criteria. This was especially difficult as we were not local. He found us the perfect home for our needs.
I especially enjoyed his humor during our rides around the Charlotte area.

This was the BEST real estate interaction I have ever participated in. Bobby did everything to prepare my house for sale....organized all of the painting, staging, cleaning....EVERYTHING!! I basically went on vacation for 7 days and came back to a house that WAS SOLD! And for above asking price. Then Bobby drove us all around Charlotte , found us a house, used his excellent negotiating skills and got us that house. Bobby is a wealth of information and a fantastic realtor. I would recommend him to anyone...and everyone. A great experience!

Downey Properties has done an outstanding job for me over the years, including the purchase of two houses and the sale of one house. Bobby goes well above and beyond for his clients, successfully negotiating purchase prices below asking and selling my last house well above asking price. He took the time to help facilitate all of the updates and changes needed to get top dollar for my home, and spent endless hours driving me around until I found the place I wanted to purchase. I can't recommend Downey Properties enough!

Bobby and Jayme at Downey Properties have been an absolute amazing team to work with. My wife and I have what some might call real estate ADD. We tend to buy and sell houses much quicker than most. In the last 4 years or so we have been at the table through 5 transactions. No matter what side of the table we were on, whether it be buying or selling, the team at Downey Properties has been phenomenal! We cannot thank them enough for all they have done. I actually think this last house in December of 2020 will be one we choose to stay at for quite some time. That is unfortunate in that we won’t get to work with them for a bit. However, they have become great friends over the past few years. The service I am describing is also like Chick-fil-a in that it is consistent every single time no matter the customer. We have recommended several friends and colleagues who have had wonderful experiences, and continue to go back to Downey Properties as well! We love the way they do business, and refuse to use anyone else.

From day one of meeting Bobby we were in good hands. He and wife Jayme are tremendously competent in real estate transactions, the Charlotte market and have very skilled and courteous staff. Every phase of the process: staging, photography, marketing, competitive pricing, etc. they did a super job. Then they manage a very hectic open-house weekend with over 100 visitors, all during the covid pandemic. They received and organized all of the offers (>20) and helped us select a qualified buyer.

They coached us in so many ways and are such a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend their services as they are the best in town.

This was our first time buying a home. Bobby and his team held our hand when needed and helped us through every step of the process thoroughly explaining any questions we had along the way. They made the entire process much less painful than I ever expected it to be. We will definitely use them again when the time comes!

Bobby and his team are outstanding! He learned about our family and what we needed in a new home, and helped us through the entire process! He gave excellent advice and tried to alleviate stress on us wherever possible. He was a fierce advocate and made sure our interests were protected throughout the transaction. We won't be moving again any time soon since we just bought our dream house, but if we do ever look for another house he will be the first person we call!

Bobby was an absolutely stellar realtor and I would highly recommend. First, Bobby helped us find our dream home and was extremely knowledgeable about the neighborhoods and regions were interested in. Second, Bobby was instrumental in getting the closing done, even with a very short turnaround timeline due to the seller trying to coordinate a second closing as well.
