When we decided to sell our house, we knew having an experienced and competent realtor was paramount. As an avid watcher of real estate (Zillow & realtor.com), I was aware there were realtors who didn't seem to put in the effort to market a home and those who did. I started collecting names of those who not only took professional grade photographs (absolutely despise agents who take cell phone photos and call it good) but also those who wrote enticing descriptions with proper grammar. When we were ready to list our house, I sent "interview" emails to six realtors with pointed questions about the process and marketing. Marianne McNally was the first to respond, even writing very detailed responses to all of my questions without skirting around or omitting any questions -- at midnight, no less! After gathering five responses (one didn't bother responding), we decided on Marianne and we are very pleased we did.

From the initial interview and house tour, Marianne made the process of selling our house of 45 years smooth and successful. We were very pleased with the way her photographer showcased our house and the property description, and was gracious when we suggested a few changes. She was also well versed on real estate law and explained everything so that we understood all of the ramifications of the selling process. Despite the buyer's agent inattentiveness at times, everything went smoothly and we received an excellent offer and closed a few days before the initial date.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Marianne to anyone looking to sell their home.
