I met Wendy Farmer over the internet awhile before I purchased a property as I was looking for a local estate agent at the time. I had called a few people but Wendy was very responsive and friendly over the phone as she listened to all my wishes for a property and the timeline was still up in the air. She set me up to receive property listings in the Triad area and we went from there. I mostly dealt with Wendy as it was easier for me to talk with one person out of a partnership. In the end, I even went so far as to our an offer in and it was accepted in a perfect property physically not having seen it myself. Wendy did a great virtual walk through of the property with me and gave me some great advice on it and the town and location which really put me at ease. She answered all my texts and phone calls so promptly and with a wonderful attitude, both highly professional and personable. We just “clicked” which really helps. I also was able to meet Steve when I moved in. I could not have asked for a better experience with the team and would work with them again if I needed to. Coming from a different state things are very different here so she was always willing to explain things to me. Thank you both so much as I could not have asked for a better agency partnership. I definitely was lucky finding them!

Very impressed! I was too busy to research every nook and crannie of the loan agreement, sales offer, or house inspection. He did his homework, seemingly a few times a day! So, even though I tried to stay on top of things, it was just too much, and I really appreciated having Tom on my side. He impressed me over an over, pulling out tools when he needed to check something, or catching a paperwork error before it became a problem.

Wendy and Steve were both amazing. When we first met Wendy, it was to look at a house that was merely okay. But Wendy listened to us and came back to us with a house that was far more than "merely okay". She helped us through the process of making an offer and getting an excellent place for us to land. Working with Wendy and Steve was a dream! Wendy was extremely communicative and personable. She listened to our wish list, shared homes that met our requirements, and scheduled showings quickly. After we found our home, she did a great job coordinating all of the moving pieces. I knew I could reach out with any questions or concerns and she would get back to me in a timely manner.

I also enjoyed working with Steve. He was at our inspection and shared valuable insight into the care and keeping of our home. He also lent us his trailer to fill with trash while we unpack and organize. This was all unnecessary but he did it anyway! We are so very thankful!

Tom was fabulous. He traveled all over the triad showing us houses. He helped us navigate the offer process and all of our inspections. He was always cheerful and honest with us. We would recommend him to anyone looking for a real-estate agent.

Tom worked with us for 2 years in a difficult market. He understood our needs and patiently assisted us as we viewed endless houses that we passed on, and kept looking for us when offers we made weren’t accepted. We were first time home buyers and didn’t know much about the process. He talked us through the entire process and all of the terms specific to the industry. He fought for us and got the seller to give us credit at closing for repairs.

Tom Houy answered an inquiry we made on Realty.com on a Sunday within an hour and although that property was under contract he put our requirements in his system for future listings. Just after we had a contract on our Florida house we were selling, Tom notified us of a listing in NC that met our needs so he showed us the house virtually by a walkthrough on his phone. We ended up putting a contract on the house and buying it. The first time we physically saw the house was right before closing.
