My husband and I have bought and sold properties together four times now and Marney is the BEST realtor we have ever had. Marney is patient and thorough. She always responds to my questions in very little time. She has connections to loan officers who are also quick to respond so that one can quickly find out if a house is affordable and have a loan in place when it's time to make a bid. Marney showed me many houses before I found the one that suits me perfectly and her manner in working with other realtors or homeowners impressed me each time. My husband and I have made multiple house purchases over the years and one of the things we’ve learned is a good real-estate agent is worth their weight in gold. This real-estate market has been a ridiculous one to put offers in on. We bid on two houses prior to this one and each time Marney patiently walked us through the process and let us know tactfully how confident she was (or wasn’t) in our offer. In the meantime we’re hearing stories from friends of getting offers rejected the 10th, 15th or 20th time. We strategized on the house we bought and managed a winning bid. We overcame issues of being overseas for the closing date, being on an opposite time schedule based on the time zone and managed to close on the house.
Normally this would be where your interaction with a real-estate agent might end. But Marney has been helping us out with setting up people to look at the basement so we can finish it, (spending her own time setting people up and walking them through the house). She also came in to the house and found the electric company hadn’t turned on the power like they were supposed to and found 5” of water in the basement (this could’ve been such a nightmare). But she called in all sorts of people to our aid and even spent hours in our basement shop-vacuuming out the water with her husband.
She did all this for strangers. You don’t meet people like this often anymore. If there is one real estate agent I can recommend without a second thought it’s Marney. Hire her now or just go with the second best.

This was my first time buying a house. I was expecting a lot of hassle and pressure and anxiety, but Marney is such a sure hand at this that she made the entire process a joy.
