MaryAnn was simply amazing. We reached out to her after using another realtor from another company that we just didn’t feel great about and I’m so glad that we went with MaryAnn. Marcella Simmons and her team have been so wonderful to work with during our home shopping and buying experience! I cannot recommend Marcella highly enough for all she has done for us. First off, we felt immediately at home with her. Having Marcella as a realtor was like house shopping with a super-skilled and real-estate savvy best friend. I always felt like she had our best interests at heart and truly cared that we got a house that would serve our family well for years to come (which we did - with our FIRST OFFER!). She was always available to answer our questions and no question was ever too minor. Having never bought a house before, I felt like I was in way over my head, but Marcella walked us through the process step by step. We never felt rushed or pressured in our decision-making - just that we had a great sounding board to bounce ideas off of and an advocate who would bend over backwards to help us. Not only is Marcella a wonderful and kind person, she's also extremely talented at what she does. When we found "the house", she immediately called the listing agent to get our foot in the door and talk up how perfect of a fit this home was for us. She helped us craft an offer that was good for us and the sellers. I truly believe that Marcella was the key to helping us get our house - without her tenacity and drive, I don't know where we'd be. She helped us negotiate with the sellers to get a major issue taken care of prior to moving, and provided us with an amazing list of contractors and resources for home upgrades and fixes. On top of that, the communication and organization with everyone in the NextHome office has been stellar. Thanks also to Trish, Bryan, and Beth for assisting us and making sure we had all our ducks in a row before closing. Overall, if I could give Marcella and NextHome more than 5 stars, I would!
