Mark is a fantastic Mortgage Loan Officer! As first time home buyers in the bay area market we did not have a lot of idea about jumbo loans or lock in rates. Mark guided us every step of the way. Me and my wife worked with Mark as a first time home buyer. As our loan officer, Mark has been helpful throughout the process. He helped us get the best rate at a time when the rate was going up pretty fast. He was always reachable when we had any questions and responded promptly. Throughout the process we felt valued as a potential customer compared to other big name financial institutions. For a first time home buyer, the closing cost can come as a surprise. As for PenFed, the cost was reasonable compared to other big name lenders. Also it was communicated in a transparent manner which was very helpful. Mark was introduced to me by my old lender as she couldn't provide me with the loan amount I needed at that time. Mark and I worked together for several months as my house hunting journey took forever. During this process, I really enjoyed working with him as he was truly AMAZING! My wife and I were first time home buyers and knew very little about the process of applying for a mortgage.

He explained with great detail all the process and answered all our questions.

Mark has a lot of experience in the real state business, he worked as a realtor in the past, and always helped us to make good decisions. His knowledge around real state business literally paid off, he suggested we negotiated the seller paid local taxes since the seller hadn't pointed that in the disclosures.

He was very patient and made all the necessary changes to accommodate our needs.
