Drew Rafuse has been described as a highly regarded, well respected, seasoned real estate professional. This is a well deserved recognition. After graduating from the highly regarded Carroll School of Management at Boston College with Bachelor of Science degree and Hofstra University Frank G Zarb School of Business with a degree of Master of Business Administration, Mr. Rafuse began his career in 1973 managing a 300+unit apartment complex in Massapequa during the week and spent his weekends selling homes in the exclusive Loft Estates Section of Dix Hills, New York. He never looked back, creating one successful community after another. Under his direction, Point of Woods Homes became a household name synonymous with quality constructed houses. With a keen eye for architectural detail, he designed and built thousands of the most desirable communities in Smithtown, Huntington, and Brookhaven. His achievements crafted such recognizable communities as Nissequogue Overlook, Weatherstone Ridge, Stony Brook Overlook, Fox Run and Fox Point. Mr. Rafuse has been recognized for his community service. He is a past President of the Long Island Builders Institute, Chairman of the Long Island Development Council and Chairman of the Study Board for the Wild, Scenic and Recreational River Act of the Nissequogue River Study Commission.
