I created a lifestyle content blog, “50 Miles North” (https://50milesnorth.com), which serves as a helpful, local resource guide and describes what living 50 miles north of New York City is like. I am also a member of the Brewster Chamber of Commerce and the North Salem Historical Society. In my free time, I enjoy skiing, shopping, ballet-barre sessions, and reading as many of the Classics as possible.

We have only made one house purchase, and that was 19 years ago. We had an incredible agent from ReMax, Rosemary Xiques, who also got ReMax in the Bronx, to help us sell a house. Working with ReMax has always been smooth and easy.
Recently, we were looking for a seasonal property, and it was becoming a frustrating nightmare. Listing agents of the properties we were interested in were of the useless variety. We were about to give up. That is, until Krista Brady came into the picture.
Krista was easy to work with from the moment we met her. She returned calls instantly, kept us up to date to the very second of the buying process, and within a month we were new owners of a lovely seasonal property.
We were quite impressed with her willingness to travel a great distance to show us a home. And a small, relatively low commissioned one at that! We were really impressed by how hard Krista worked for such a financially low-end sale. We felt like we were being treated as if we were buying a mansion.
I highly recommend Krista, without reservation, as a class act agent. She was warm, kind, and most important of all, honest. I'm sure we'll be working with her sometime in the future.

When my husband and I decided we wanted to buy our first home, we looked around at a few different real estate agents before choosing to work with Krista. Buying a house seemed like a daunting process to us, and we wanted to be careful. Out of everyone we talked to, Krista was the only agent who immediately demonstrated that she was passionate about helping us find our new home through her consistent communication and positive demeanor. One agent from a different company had told us that we would never be able to find what we’re looking for in our desired area for our price…Not Krista! “Never” wasn’t in Krista’s vocabulary- She worked with a dedicated fervor to maintain a respectful relationship with us and with everyone else involved- the sellers, mortgage lender, attorneys, etc.
Krista always showed up on time (if not early!) to our meetings and came organized. She answered all our questions, and as first-time home-buyers, we had many! But we felt comfortable asking her anything. We had never sold a house before and Krista the explained the process so that we felt comfortable as we went along.
From getting a consultant for preparing the house for sale, to the photographer for the listing photos Krista had a team of professionals ready to help us.
Lastly the closing date that worked for the buyers conflicted with a long planned vacation on our end. So as not to push the closing off a few weeks we signed the documents with our attorney the day before and Krista handled the closing for us while we were the plane!
We would recommend Krista to anyone buying or selling a home.
