She was incredibly knowledgeable in every step of the home buying process, and always available anytime I reached out to her - whether I just had a question or wanted to set up a time to view a house during our search. We moved from out of state, and she was very good about communicating new listings and continuing to review and set up showing as per our travel schedule. Great insight into how to move a family.
On arrival she was great about helping us get settled in the area and helping us meet with similar families in the area.

Julia could not have been a better realtor for me. She was very knowledgable about all steps in the process and always stayed on top of everything. We were buying a Short Sale home and the sellers were going through a bankruptcy, it was anything but short! For approximately 6 months we were on a stressful roller coaster ride. Every time we got good news, bad news followed, but it was the home we wanted so we pushed through it all. We could not have done it without Julia though, she was always reachable and always told me every option or move we could make in order to get the process on track again. Julia even emailed me while she was in labor with her baby...CHILD LABOR!!! That is some serious dedication right there. She seriously is the reason why the deal finally went through, her advice was on point, and I always felt like she had my best interest at heart. Two Wednesday's ago after 6.5 months, my family finally moved into our new home. I couldn't be more greatful for all of Julia's hard work in getting us this home. If my family ever decides to sell/buy, I would not deal with anyone other than Julia, and I would recommend her to anyone and everyone that is looking for a realtor!

Both thumbs up. Out purchase involved a difficult seller who threatened to scupper the whole deal a few days before closing (with all our furniture and belongings packed up and our old house sold. Julia kept a calm head, gave us good advice, and managed to close the deal (all that while heavily pregnant, just three days away from her due date.) She was meticulous, knowledgeable, and kept on top of a whole laundry list of items that needed to be checked before closing. As out-of-state clients who could not supervise any repairs being undertaken we relied heavily on her and were not disappointed. Add to that the fact, that she jumped in at a few hours' notice to take us on as clients when we were already in the air for a 3.5-day visit to the area to search for a new home (because her business partner was taken ill.) Julia rescheduled and juggled, even packed snacks and juice boxes in her car for our toddler whom unfortunately we had to bring along on this exhausting tour-de-force. Julia Furano is not just professional _ she's also kind and caring. You can't go wrong with this realtor.

Julia goes far out of her way to make sure her clients get the most comprehensive picture possible of the current market, and she'll drop what she's doing to take you on a viewing at a moment's notice. Julia helped my parents purchase their home a few years ago, and my mom loves to tell the story of how one day (she was looking at homes in Rochester while visiting from out of town) Julia drove her to something like a dozen viewings all in a morning/afternoon. When my boyfriend and I decided to look for a home during a particularly busy season in the marketplace, Julia provided us with very helpful information about market trends, honest feedback about homes we expressed interest in, and she was always available. Just when we'd almost given up hope that we would find our perfect home, Julia reached out to us with a listing that had yet to go public. She set up a last-minute viewing and we put in an offer with her help the next morning. Today we live in the home and couldn't be happier. She even surprised us with a beautiful watercolor picture of the house after we moved in -- such a kind and generous gesture. Julia will go above and beyond for you. Highly recommend!

When I contacted Julia and expressed interest in purchasing my first home, she scheduled a meeting with me the next day. We discussed my search parameters and she sent me many helpful documents about purchasing my first home. By the next week, we had several viewings scheduled. Julia was very flexible in her schedule to ensure I could see the homes that interested me.

When I was ready to put an offer in, she explained each part of the contract and ensured I was comfortable with the document I was signing. She answered every single question I asked (it seemed like I asked hundreds) in great detail. Once my offer was accepted, she stayed in contact with me while I applied for my mortgage to make sure she could assist me if needed.

There were a couple bumps towards the end of the process with the bank and my lease at my current apartment was up prior to my closing date. After I told Julia that my closing would be delayed, she quickly called the selling agent and asked if I could move my belongings into the home I was purchasing until the closing date. This was an enormous help! Without Julia's help, I would've had to scramble to find storage for my belongings until my close date.

Overall, Julia exceeded my expectations in this process. She is very proactive and is always thinking ahead. Her knowledge of the process of purchasing a home is comprehensive. In addition, she is great at building relationships. This quality was something that was important to me because it made the process move along much more smoothly at each stage.
