I started in this industry over 25 years ago, when I was in high school working for a title company at the time. Once I got to know the industry a little better over time, something inside me wanted to do escrow. After years of being in title and examining, I decided to move into escrow in 2002 as a receptionist and quickly worked my way up to be an escrow assistant. In 2005, I moved to Washington from California and I continued working as an escrow assistant until I became an escrow closer in 2017. I obtained my LPO license in 2019 after successfully passing the Washington State Bar Association’s LPO exam.
I do understand that if the customer does not have a great closing experience it reflects poorly on the agent as well as escrow and diminishes the chance of a client referral. I believe that great communication and working proactively insures a smooth and successful closing. I pride myself in going above and beyond for my clients and striving to be one of the best. I do not believe in voicemail, I have a goal to always answer my phone, if for some reason I am not at my desk and/or unable to answer, I always call back within the hour. I always make myself available to my customers after hours including nights and weekends, my notaries have my cell number as well incase of something happens and/or goes sideways with a signing so at least the customers have someone to speak with during signing.
