Steve Schiller

Steve Schiller provides unparalleled access as a company president, manager, and mentor. From day one with Ticor, he has always had an “open door” policy, and I realized he truly does abide by this principle the first time I took him up on it. Upon leaving Steve’s office, I understood that my leader truly has my back and cares. Moving forward, I have been able to consult with him one-on-one regarding whatever issue or concern I might bring to him. He always has legitimate counsel on how to proceed in a professional and highly ethical manner. The real greatness of Steve is how he empowers his employees with the proper tools and training to do their jobs, then gets out of the way and lets them work. He recognizes the strengths of his employees and gets the most out of them by embracing and even enhancing those traits. Steve is constantly active in the community by giving back through his service to our local youth and involvement with the university. His contributions are too numerous to list. A company’s culture starts at the top, and Ticor’s best attributes can be directly traced back to Steve. His hard work, dedication, knowledge, availability and service-oriented approach differentiate him from the rest of the title and escrow community.

As I reach my one year anniversary here with Ticor Title in Incline Village I want to let everyone know how excited I am to be here and how I feel honored that Steve wanted me as part of the Ticor Family. Steve and I have known each other for almost 30 years and he is one of the most honest and understanding men I have ever known. He is truly a great person and now that I work at Ticor … truly a great boss.
