Fidelity National Financial acquires Western Title & Escrow Company
Fidelity National Financial (FNF), a leading provider of title insurance and settlement services, acquired Western Title & Escrow Company on July 5, 2016. The company will continue to market itself as Western Title & Escrow Company and the existing employee base will remain with the company. Former owners, George Slape and Dan Slape, will soon retire.

The opportunity with George and Dan and everyone at Western Title & Escrow Company was a great fit.”

The acquisition expands FNF’s reach into seven counties in Oregon: Lincoln, Lane, Douglas, Yamhill, Jefferson, Crook and Deschutes. Western Title & Escrow Company will continue to be headquartered and managed from its offices in Bend, Oregon with Steve Eanes as President.

Fantastic! Simply fantastic! What an amazingly pleasant experience during the closing process! Lonni was one of the most kind, pleasant, patient, forthcoming and honest people I have worked with! It was a great experience to have her on my team throughout the home purchase process! She was intent on making sure I understood her role, which she played perfectly! She explained everything necessary in complete detail during signing. She was able to answer any questions I did have with thoughtfullness, grace, and knowledge. Since this event was somewhat stressfull to me, she had that covered as well! Since she obviously has so much experience with a variety of individuals, when I came in and showed signs of anxiety due to the understood stress, she had a solution. Albeight it was not a "traditional" solution, it was one that worked quite well! She simpley provided me with some aroma therapy (orange peel citrus scent) and I was able to refocus on the task at hand! What a blessing to have that on board! Overall I could not call myself anything else other than "completely and totally satisfied" at the highest level, when it comes to my experience with Western Title and Lonni during the entire real estate transaction process! I could not thank them enough!
