I rarely give reviews, unless someone completely knocks my socks off. Welp, Susanne did, so here is a great review for a stellar realtor and neat lady. Susanne is a true gem. She is knowledgeable, trustworthy, has integrity, and is honest. This was my first time selling a house and she made the whole process very simple. She definitely has her client’s best interest at heart, which is thoroughly refreshing. If you need a realtor who has your back, do yourself a favor and call Susanne. Seriously. Susanne helped my family and I with a relocation from out of state. When we came to look for places to rent, she insisted on taking us out and showing us the area including fun places to go with the kids and good places to eat and shop. When moving day came, I was having technical difficulties getting the rent payment to go through. Obviously the landlord wanted payment before we moved in but as hard as I tried, it would not work. Susanne offered to pay it for us so we could get moved in! Not many people would be willing to loan that much money to people they had only met once. Needless to say, we think she’s great and will definitely be using her again to purchase a home when our lease is up.

I moved to the St. Louis area from Germany. For me it was important to find a neighborhood that was safe and resembled what I left in terms of restaurant-choices, uniqueness and walkability. Susanne has seen a lot of the world herself, so she understands the needs and wants of people that come from different cultures. With today's market, I have to admit I wondered just how important was the agent when houses are selling themselves. Sue Watkins proved to me beyond a shadow of a doubt her involvement in this process meant a huge difference. She had great suggestions in preparing my house prior to the listing. She knew what needed attention and what could be left alone. She was always readily available when I had questions or even wanted her to come take a look at something as we were getting the house ready. Although my house was only on the market a couple of days (didn't even make it to the open house - yay), she constantly kept in touch letting me know of showings and the multiple offers we received. And this is when she really shined! She negotiated on my behalf with the best offers and I could not have been more pleased with the outcome.
So, if you're getting ready to sell and thinking like I was, do not sell short the importance of a veteran, conscientious, agent. Sue was there from the very beginning to the very end and then some. I STRONGLY recommend her!
