Shay started her title and escrow career at Pioneer Title Company in Walla Walla, WA in 2013. It originally started as a part-time receptionist job. Shay also began doing property profiles, opening files for title and escrow, was a courier, and ran recordings. Originally, this just started as a job Shay could do during the summer and part-time while in college for nursing. She quickly found that she enjoyed escrow and ended up leaving college to do escrow full-time in 2015. Shay became an escrow assistant and closer to the lead LPO. She eventually took the test in 2017 and passed it the first time.
Once she got her LPO she planned to start her own team in Walla Walla. Instead, she moved to Bellingham, WA where she began working at Chicago Title in July 2017. Shay is now an Escrow Officer on the “Shay Jones Team”.
Shay wore a lot of “hats” at the beginning of her career while working with the small title company in Walla Walla. This helped her learn all the elements that go into closing a transaction from opening the file to the recording process at the courthouse. Shay’s vast knowledge and attention to detail shine in each transaction she is involved in. One of her favorite parts of her job is learning the story behind each transaction and how to put the pieces together for each closing, as each deal is so different.
When Shay isn’t in the office she loves hiking, camping, fishing, riding her horses, tending to her chickens, cooking, and spending time with her dog Zip and family.

Shay Jones and her Assistant, Robin Sherman are by far the most efficient Escrow Team I have dealt with in the 22 years that I have been in the Real Estate business, and I have always preferred Chicago Title due to its efficiency, professionalism and the other great people that work there. Shay and Robin are on top of "issues" before they become "issues" and they are outstanding communicators. I always direct my listings to close with Shay Jones...no wonder she is Number 1!

As usual, Shay Jones is amazing! She is professional, detail oriented and strives to make every transaction as smooth as possible. She went above and beyond by staying late to help the seller sign before heading out of town. She also helped us deliver an on time closing even though she did not receive loan documents until the day of closing.
