“Nikki Monell is an Escrow Officer at Chicago Title, raised in a military family on South Whidbey, with a family background in the title and escrow industry. Nikki remembers expressing interest in escrow as early as age six when she was given simple tasks at South Island Escrow, where her mother then worked.
From there, Nikki accepted a summer job in high school at Stewart Title, and eventually became an Escrow Assistant in 2014. She joined our Chicago Title family in 2020 as an Escrow Assistant, and in 2023, Nikki passed her L.P.O. exam to become our newest Escrow Officer.
We are beyond grateful to have her on our team.
Nikki is known for her problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box. With her deep knowledge of the communities here on Whidbey, Nikki always knows who to contact to ensure that contracts are closed quickly and efficiently. Her favorite part of her job is helping people achieve their dream of owning a home, and she works tirelessly to ensure that her clients have a smooth and stress-free experience.
Outside of work, Nikki adores spending time with her husband, (also a South Whidbey raised local), and their growing family. They have a beautiful one year old daughter and are also proud parents to two pups. Nikki also dedicates herself to community service. Her volunteer efforts have included participating in Hearts and Hammers, coaching track at Langley and South Whidbey Middle Schools, acting as Drama Club Advisor for South Whidbey High School, and the list goes on. Her love for community led her to her past role as Vice President at Whidbey Children’s Theater, and her passion for animals extends to her current role as WAIF President.
