My husband and I have had the opportunity of buying and selling homes in San Francisco, Chicago, Walnut Creek, and ultimately, Lafayette, where we have lived for 13+ years. Once settled, I quickly became involved in local philanthropic and community programs, including parent swim team director and board member, PTA member and current high school community member of SEED Lafayette.

When not showing property, drafting a contract, or prepping a home for sale, you may spot me traversing the iconic Lafayette Reservoir trails and paths, immersed in the latest Ina Garten recipe, or relaxing at home with my husband, sons, dogs, and ever-curious cat.

We were targeting Lafayette and Walnut Creek for our new home and although we've lived in the Bay Area for decades did not know anything about the neighborhoods in either city. Moving to a new area is a challenge. Our target was Lafayette and Walnut Creek and we were casually familiar with the latter given our frequent visits to downtown. However, we had no knowledge of the neighborhoods in either city. Rachel is definitely the person to work with, not only if you are looking in this area but for any of your realtor needs. Rachel is very personable and in our first meeting, walked us through details of Lamorinda, Walnut Creek and the surrounding area, even personally touring us through Lafayette. She took the time to understand our needs by not just noting what we were looking for but by understanding what we liked and didn't like about the homes and neighborhoods we had previously lived in. As we started touring homes, that understanding was refined so that she could easily make recommendations. Rachel's honesty, transparency, prompt communication and genuine care that we found the home that was right for our family made this challenging process that much easier.
