Growing up with parents in the real estate industry, the real estate business has always been a part of my life. My 15 years in the banking industry, which included 5 years of real estate lending, was a great parlay into a career as a realtor. During my free time, I love to garden, play tennis, participate in a number of charitable causes and spend time with family and friends.

Eight years ago, Wendy Hermann helped us find our dream home in St. Louis. In her role as the buyer's agent, we were thrilled with her service and professionalism. Ten years later, in 2024, we knew who to call when we decided to relocate across the country and sell that very same home. She once again provided great insight, professionalism, responsiveness, and high-quality client service as she guided us to quickly sell our house. She was a great resource in helping us acquire any needed service providers when issues arose and also connected us to a great realtor in Ohio to help us on the buying side of things. Wendy was a consummate professional at every stage of the home buying process. My husband and I were relocating to the St. Louis Metro in a relatively short window. Amid a tight market with limited inventory, Wendy guided us through some great homes until we found the perfect match. She stood by us after an inspection report that returned more findings than expected, she supported our needs during negotiations with the sellers, and she was beyond patient when our closing process hit a snag. She was always responsive, kind, and extremely knowledgeable. We were lucky to work with Wendy - hands down, the best real estate agent we've had!

Paula Andrew helped us buy our first house and we were very impressed with the representation she gave us. She led us through the process and patiently helped us at every turn. When our daughter bought her condo, we called Paula and again she was there to help. Since that time, Paula represented our daughter in selling the condo and buying a house. A few months ago, we unexpectedly gained possession of a condo. We contacted Paula and she represented and assisted us through a complicated sale. If Paula was out of town, Wendy stepped in. They did a great job for us. I recommend Paula and the Espenschied Hermann firm highly!

Wendy is attentive, committed and willing to go above and beyond in your buy and sell transactions.

Wendy helped us purchase a property in the midst of selling another property:
For the buying experience: She performed due diligence on timelines, appraisals and maintained great relationships with the seller that we were buying from and in return provided us with the needed information and advice to make it a smooth purchase. She also helped us identify and iron out any kinks in the process. Overall, Wendy made it Easy, even though the process was quite complicated.

For the selling experience: Wendy was FAST. We got our house ready to sell and within days we had multiple offers that were favorable to us. Wendy also was there to stand in as both my fiancé and i were so busy with the other transaction and also with work - she was there for us every step of the way, and then some.

Wendy is also incredibly approachable, friendly and accessible. I highly recommend her as your next realtor for both your buy and sell transactions!!

Wendy did an outstanding job handling the recent sale of our home. Her professionalism and understanding of the current market conditions made the process seamless. I was impressed with Wendy from our first phone conversation. She took the time to listen to us and understand what we were looking for. When she started sending us listings they were relevant and on target with what we wanted. She made appointments for showings quickly and suited to our schedule. And, once we were under contract everything was very efficient. Wendy seemed to always be available and kept us well informed, all with a smile and kind regards! Wendy has been working with our family since the fall to sell our old house and find us a new home. She has been great to work with and knows all the ins and outs of working with a family using a VA Loan.
When selling our home she came by several different times to let us know what needed to be done to get ready to sell. She took care of pictures, scheduling showings, and really talked us through every step. We were/are so lucky to have her as our realtor!

I had the task of clearing and selling my parents-in-law’s home. Paula Andrew was my main realtor. Wendy and Ann Espenschied work with Paula. They are a great team.
Paula gave me excellent advice in responsibly disposing of a lifetime of possessions in the home and in all aspects of the negotiations and sale. I knew that Paula would be out of town for two weeks during the time. As part of a team all aspects of the sale went on just as planned. I am most grateful for their professional and kind service.

Professional, Personable, and Plugged-in ... Wendy never tired and always gave full attention to our detailed questions. We probably reviewed 200+ homes and visited 50+. Her customer phone calls get the highest priority and she adjusted to our house hunting timeline. In the end we landed in a superb situation and looking back we can see clearly that Wendy helped us avoid a few homes that would not have fit what we were looking for or needed. There is no doubt that Wendy is in the top-tier of St Louis brokers and we'll be calling her if we sell. Remember: top tier means extremely capable and service focused instead of sales focused

Wendy was an excellent. She spent so much time with us in our first home buying process, from phone calls explaining the process and finding out our wants to Saturday mornings looking at houses and giving her honest opinion about what we were seeing. Not to mention, we were out of town for the whole process. Wendy worked patiently with our schedule. We look forward to working with her again in the future.

Perfect, professional experience on both our buying and selling experience with Wendy.
Upon learning we'd be transferred to the St Louis area, Wendy was referred to us as an exceptional realtor. We scheduled a compressed house hunting trip 2 months prior to our move date and she accommodated our need to have a lot of houses lined up for viewing and gave all the time we needed. Additionally, her knowledge of the area was helpful in deciding on focus neighborhoods and school districts.
We were so impressed with her during the buying process, that we went right back to her as we prepared to move again 4 years later. We consulted with her during the pre-sale period on home improvement investments and staging, and were again impressed with the compressive sales approach; photos, open houses, pricing, etc.
You'll find none better than Wendy, and after the buy or sale, you'll have a great resource who you'll be proud to call your friend for life.

My wife and I had a wonderful experience with Wendy as our realtor. She helped us find a home that truly matched what we were looking for and was available whenever we needed her We felt she went above and beyond especially as we were figuring things out from out of town and also guided us through the process with her knowledge of the area. She even Facetimed us and walked through the house we ended up with as we couldn't make it there in person! She really made the process of finding a home from out of town as stress free as possible. My wife and I couldn't be any happier!

Wendy was very helpful working with the lender to keep things moving along and helped explain/anticipate problems.

Wendy was a pleasure to work with. She is extremely knowledgeable with not only the local real estate market but also knows the nuts and bolts of the homes themselves. She was extremely efficient, quick to respond, and always friendly. Overall a wonderful experience for my first time buying a home!
