We looked at few homes didn't like them, I finally liked the one I bought but the process was very overwhelming. We found our home the day after Christmas with the help and support of our amazing realtor, Emma Brennan. We had pretty typical wants and needs and nothing up to that point had fulfilled any of them. Not to mention the prices were just atrocious. We stumbled upon a home with a double lot, two garages and tons of space for our future gardens. It was actually listed below our price parameter with minimal photos but the property was interesting and I immediately told Emma I was curious and wanted a look. We approached this viewing in Solvay without much optimism; but we were soon so smitten with the home we couldn’t help but really start to daydream of the potentials. Our initial reaction was that we liked the house, but suddenly we LOVED the house and Emma just KNEW. It reminded us both of homes and places we’ve lived and loved prior and we want to keep that nostalgia alive. What came next was whirlwind day of anxiety, finances and eventually an offer accepted that evening. Emma moved SO fast to prioritize our interest and soon, the hard part was over! We had no idea that this was the worst of it, and everything hereafter was so easy we often found ourselves asking, “So, when does the bad stuff happen?” We were not expecting to find a home so quickly, and certainly not with all the added benefits and silver linings of a home in the village of Solvay.
