Shawna is truly one of the best people I have had the privilege of meeting in the past few years. I first met her at a kids’ birthday party, where she was introduced to me as a family friend. I later found out she was actually the one who had sold the house to the hosts of the party—and through that process had become a close friend of theirs.
About two years ago, I began my own home search. Life threw me a few curveballs, and I had to pause the process. Shawna was incredibly understanding and graceful throughout, never making me feel pressured or rushed.
Fast forward to last November—I reached back out to her, and she welcomed me with open arms and a warm heart. BEST OF THE BEST! Shawna and Gisele are absolutely amazing. They are the definition of professionalism and their expertise in real estate is unmatched. I started my search for my first home last year, during an extremely competitive market time in the Tampa Bay Area. As a young adult with limited resources, this was a tough market to be a first time home buyer in with the budget I was working with. I knew NOTHING about real estate or investing going into this. From the first time I spoke with Shawna on the phone, she was extremely patient and willing to explain things to me as someone who lacked knowledge of the industry. From the get go, they were both 100% honest with me. If I wanted to look at a house but the neighborhood was bad, they would tell me. If we walked into a property and they noticed something wrong that I did not notice, they would tell me. If the property was overpriced and not a good deal for me/my goals, they would tell me. Quickly I realized how much they truly had MY best interest at heart. Regardless of how long it took, they were determined to help me find the right fit. We did this for over a year. We saw probably over 100 properties and they never gave up on me. Of course I wanted a move in ready place within my budget, but as time went on, with their education and advice, I altered my mindset and was able to understand that with this current market, I would have to be more flexible and open if this was something I really wanted to do at this time. After a few months of working with these two amazing women, I knew I could trust them entirely and throughout the whole process, I knew my best interest was top of mind. Excellent experience with Shawna and Gisele! From the moment we met, Shawna had an extremely bubbly and energetic vibe. She welcomed us in as clients with open arms and gave awesome recommendations of areas to look in that would fit me and my fiancé’s personality. I’m not the easiest guy to work with (I’m very particular and outspoken) but Shawna kept me in check and was extremely detail-oriented throughout the entire process from looking at houses, to making offers, to closing! My experience with her has been awesome. She went over and above to assist me with buying the perfect condo that she found for me in St. Pete. Shortly thereafter I had to leave town for a couple of months and she handled the entire purchase for me long distance. Every contract, HOA requirements, insurance documentation and title requirements were handled by her and all I needed to do was DocuSign all of the paperwork. The entire process was handled to perfection. My boyfriend who owns several properties was so impressed with her that he is now going to use Shawna for any future purchases and sales for which he is involved.
