BEST OF THE BEST! Shawna and Gisele are absolutely amazing. They are the definition of professionalism and their expertise in real estate is unmatched. I started my search for my first home last year, during an extremely competitive market time in the Tampa Bay Area. As a young adult with limited resources, this was a tough market to be a first time home buyer in with the budget I was working with. I knew NOTHING about real estate or investing going into this. From the first time I spoke with Shawna on the phone, she was extremely patient and willing to explain things to me as someone who lacked knowledge of the industry. From the get go, they were both 100% honest with me. If I wanted to look at a house but the neighborhood was bad, they would tell me. If we walked into a property and they noticed something wrong that I did not notice, they would tell me. If the property was overpriced and not a good deal for me/my goals, they would tell me. Quickly I realized how much they truly had MY best interest at heart. Regardless of how long it took, they were determined to help me find the right fit. We did this for over a year. We saw probably over 100 properties and they never gave up on me. Of course I wanted a move in ready place within my budget, but as time went on, with their education and advice, I altered my mindset and was able to understand that with this current market, I would have to be more flexible and open if this was something I really wanted to do at this time. After a few months of working with these two amazing women, I knew I could trust them entirely and throughout the whole process, I knew my best interest was top of mind. I am so thankful to have the most passionate, dedicated, honest, and hardworking realtors out there. If you are looking for realtors with a PEOPLE first mind set, who will not give up no matter how long or hard the search gets, who will always be honest with you even if it's not what you want to hear, NextHome is the place for you. Excellent experience with Shawna and Gisele! From the moment we met, Shawna had an extremely bubbly and energetic vibe. She welcomed us in as clients with open arms and gave awesome recommendations of areas to look in that would fit me and my fiancé’s personality. I’m not the easiest guy to work with (I’m very particular and outspoken) but Shawna kept me in check and was extremely detail-oriented throughout the entire process from looking at houses, to making offers, to closing! We spoke nearly every day, and developed a friendship throughout. She is wise beyond her years when it comes to the process, and the details needed to ensure a successful and timely close. We ended up in our dream home, and could not have been happier with the experience - she even created an amazing video for us documenting the close, along with a bottle of champagne. Shawna Ramkalawan is the best real estate agent that I have ever used. She was referred to me by my brother who used her and also raves about her. I saw how she found him a place to buy that he loved and she later sold his place when he needed her to in one day.
My experience with her has been awesome. She went over and above to assist me with buying the perfect condo that she found for me in St. Pete. Shortly thereafter I had to leave town for a couple of months and she handled the entire purchase for me long distance. Every contract, HOA requirements, insurance documentation and title requirements were handled by her and all I needed to do was DocuSign all of the paperwork. The entire process was handled to perfection. My boyfriend who owns several properties was so impressed with her that he is now going to use Shawna for any future purchases and sales for which he is involved.
Shawna and her partner are the best and I would recommend her to anyone!

I connected with Shawna since our first phone conversation. Her personality and expertise showed since that very first moment. We told her what we were looking for, and she did not stop until she found our dream home. She was so honest every time we looked at houses that I ended up just trusting her opinion with my eyes closed based on our wants and needs. Since we were on the west coast, the whole process (including the closing) was done through phone, video and written messages.
