To say that Margaret is an excellent realtor is an understatement — for me, she is EXCEPTIONAL. I’ve worked with many real estate agents in the past, and Margaret is simply the best realtor I’ve known. She’s been our realtor since 2009 and she has helped us with 4 different real estate transactions — as seller’s agent to 2 tough short sale transactions, as buyer’s agent when we bought our condo, and as seller’s agent again when we sold our condo recently. In all those 4 transactions, she consistently gave us the best service that we could possibly get.
Here are some qualities that I really like about Margaret:
- she acts quickly and is very proactive
- she’s always on top of things
- she always keeps us updated
- she is very hardworking
- she always keeps her clients best interest in mind
- she is funny and easy to get along with
Having the above qualities make Margaret an “excellent” realtor, but what sets her apart from other realtors are the following qualities that make her an “exceptional” realtor:
1.) She would do anything just to make things easier for her clients, even the tasks that are outside the scope of her job as a realtor. When we moved out of state, it was difficult for us to monitor the construction/renovation that was going on in our condo in California. Luckily, Margaret was there to help us. She would always check up on the progress of our condo and made sure that the contractor was doing his job properly. She even helped us shop around for materials so that we could get the best bang for our buck!
2.) She’s very innovative and aggressive with her marketing strategies. As a matter of fact, we already got an offer for our condo even before it was listed on MLS. In contrast, the other 3 condo units being sold in our complex at that time had been in the market for months. If we didn’t have Margaret, our house would probably still be sitting in the market waiting for a buyer to come.
3.) She has excellent negotiation skills both as a buyer’s agent and as a seller’s agent. She doesn’t easily back down in negotiations. In our recent sale, we were able to sell the house for $35K above the listing price despite the fact that the other home prices in the area were dropping down.
Margaret isn’t just a realtor for us. She has become our friend, and we consider her part of our family. Thank you, Margaret, for all the services you’ve provided us all these years!
