Recently I retired and moved back to the county from Virginia. I contacted Courtney and Dan Castle from NextHome Discovery, due to their contact info was on Zillow where I was browsing the housing market before I moved back to Maine. I was skeptical about utilizing a realtor from Presque Isle to search for a new home in the Houlton area, but my concerns turned out to be totally unfounded. Courtney and Dan were extremely knowledgeable, courteous, patient, and loo ok Ed out for my best interests from the start. Not only did I end up buying the home that was perfect for me, it was in a perfect location. Throughout the whole process, they were helpful and communicated with myself, and other realtors very effectively with MY best interests in mind. Dan and his team made our buying process as smooth as possible. He kept tabs on all facets of the transaction and communicated everything to us promptly, keeping us well informed. There were a couple of times when things started to go sideways - things that Dan could not possibly have foreseen which had nothing to do with him or his team. One of the easiest experiences on a deal that wasn't the easiest! I purchased a bank foreclosure through Team Castle and there deduction and helpfulness to see both sides close was undoubtedly above and beyond the call of duty. I would definitely recommend using this company and these realtors to anyone from a first time home buyer to investor!

Courtney and Dan were really great to work with! This was our family’s first home-buying experience and it couldn’t have gone better! They were both really knowledgeable of the area and were able to answer all of our questions. Any questions we had about the house, if one of them didn’t know off-hand, they were always very quick to help us figure it out. We also appreciated their patience and communication with us, since we haven’t purchased a home before that was very important! We also have little kiddos and they offered tons of tips and information about the area that we now live in, as well as tips and contacts for finishing up some work on our house. They were very friendly and much more than competent! We were beyond pleased with their services!

Dan was great as our realtor. I have had both good and bad experiences with purchasing property. Dan is one of the best to work with me. He does not apply your typical pressure, really does his best to communicate the cons of a home as well as the pros. Will help in any way he can and that right there is what separates him from the rest. I cannot thank Dan more for what he has done to help get this property closed. I likely will never be looking for another property but my children will be at some point in their lives and if friends or other family is ever in the market Dan will surely be my recommendation for any realty need. The process of buying and selling a house is very rarely stress free. Throughout the whole process Dan and Courtney were attenuative and compassionate to the multiple questions we had and updates we requested. I know for a fact that at some point we were over the top with our badgering but Team Castle made it a point to not make us feel like we were bothering them. I highly recommend Team Castle whether you are a first time home buyer or this is your second or third go around!

Dan was excellent. He went out of his way to provide us with a video walkthrough of our property due to our overseas status. He also recommended excellent resources for home inspections, and took care of all of the local requirements since we couldn’t be there in person.
