We could not have imagined what we needed in a realtor before meeting and working with Susie Verrill. She is the most professional, thoughtful, and dedicated realtor we could have hope for.
When we met her, it was as a selling agent for a property we were considering. In that instance, she was helpful to us, but also an advocate for her client. Later, when we were at an open house on another property, that seller's agent disclosed information about his client that we didn't think was appropriate. Our minds turned back to Susie and how she respected the individual she was representing. This degree of professionalism is important to us, so we asked her to serve as our buyers agent and began earnestly seeking a new home with her.
As our buyers agent, Susie put in two offers for us. On the first, we never came to a meeting of the minds with the seller. Susie gave sage advice and didn't pressure us to give in. On the second offer, we had seen the house at an open house and told Susie we were interested. She wanted to give us good advice about the property, so she went there on her own, took photos, and helped us to determine a fair price and to land an accepted offer. Throughout the process, she got everything we asked for. She linked us to fairly prices and keen inspectors. When our lender was slow, she prodded them so we would close on time. When we were going to be shorted funds at closing, she fought for us to receive these funds and we got them. When the signing at closing took longer than expected, she didn't rush. She wanted us to have everything we wanted and deserved.
Susie cannot be more highly recommended. I have already given her name to a friend who is also working with her now. Susie is, hands down, the best realtor we've ever worked with. You won't find a more patient, professional, and dedicated advocate to sell or purchase a home.
